Is there anything cuter than puppies? The answer is yes: puppies swimming. These pups dipped in the pool for the first time ever, and it is too cute for words.
The owner of the 8 golden retriever puppies took the little ones to Rummy’s Beach Club for a swim. They began yapping with excitement the minute they saw the water. Luckily for us, she also caught the whole thing on video.
The puppies sat near the edge of the pool. They looked around franticly and barked with enthusiasm. This was the first time they would be in the water, and they couldn’t wait.
At the prompting of the owner, some brave pups inched closer to the water. One, however, stood out in the crowd. She took the lead and rushed over to the deeper part of the pool. She aimed her front paws into the water and pushed off of the ground with her back ones. And into the water she plopped!
“Good girl!” her owner shouted excitedly as she dog-paddled toward the shallow slope and walked back out of the water.
Several puppies sniffed their wet sister. Her actions only made them more curious about the strange substance in front of them.
One leaned down to smell the water, but when the level rose a little she scooted back. She cautiously scooted toward the pool again, but she couldn’t bring herself to get in. The scared little puppy shot off sideways, waiting nervously for the right time to explore.
Several more puppies jumped into the pool. One stood proud as he landed, feeling extremely accomplished at his owner’s encouraging “Yay!” This pup’s face is just too adorable.
Some puppies rushed daringly into the water while others dipped their paws cautiously into the pool. These dogs are so young, but you can see their distinct personalities already.
“Oh my goodness!” the woman exclaimed as one little guy tried to figure out how to leave the water. He stood perplexed with his front paws on the edge of the pool and his back ones in the pool. It is heartwarming to watch an animal learn a skill for the first time.
Watching puppies jump into a pool is one of the best ways to spend a free moment. These furry friends are so adorable, they are sure to leave you smiling.
