Animals are adorable and funny. They have their own personalities, and you just never know what they will do next. When you offer them food, things get even more outrageous. A little porcupine named Teddy Bear recently proved that food is the way to his heart.
His mom videotaped him eating some corn.
Before Teddy is given the corn, he seems like any other little porcupine, cute, chubby and curious. Once his mom gives him some corn, he seems to become overly excited about the treat.
He squeals when the treat is offered to him, and he isn’t planning on sharing it. His mom asks him to share and starts to grab it, and he makes a cute little noise that almost sounds like he is saying “I can’t.” She continues to ask him for it and try to take it, and he continues to jabber about it.
It’s strange how much his little animal noises sound like human words.
He is clearly carrying on a conversation with his mom. He isn’t worried that she will take his food away, because he trusts her, and she cares for him regularly. Still, he wants to let her know that she can’t take his treat.
Finally, she gives up and leaves him along with his treat. He continues to eat it and make little noises. He clearly loves corn, and his owner clearly loves him. The video was shared on YouTube, and everyone seems to be smitten with the little porcupine. Some of the viewers tried to make out the words the porcupine was saying.
Many of them seemed to think he was speaking with human words.

“0:46 I hear ‘is lekker’ which is Dutch for ‘tastes good’ XD”
Other people just thought he was adorable. Videos like this help teach people about porcupines and other animals. Who knew porcupines could talk?
