Who said that only men and women can be police officers? On the contrary, more and more police departments around the world are recruiting dogs to be part of their patrolling and investigating teams.

Our adorable four-legged friends are not only capable guardians but they make amazing detectives, able to detect illegal substances when we, people, cannot!

It’s not the first time that K-9 dogs are mentioned on the news or social media for their bravery and valuable service to the police force.

Around 8 months ago, in February 2020, another k-9 video became viral, when San Diego Sheriff’s K-9 helped with the apprehension of a criminal.

Lovely Corporal Chico deserves a big “Thank you” and plenty of delicious treats for his continuous service to the police force. The K-9 police dogs go through a very thorough and tough training as according to the Mec Security, they are supposed to “protect and guard without causing disruptions and misbehaving”. Let’s wish him many more years of active and safe service along with his handler.
