Pitties crowd into doorway and listen intently to ‘cockatiel concert’
These two dogs' attention is all on the bird and the bird is just loving it! What do you think is happening?

A private concert is happening in this house and it’s only for four-legged canines and feathery animals.

No humans are allowed. Or maybe they can watch from a distance like what’s happening here.

Two big dogs are staring intensely at a cockatiel while it sings and entertains them. We don’t know what the cockatiel is saying or singing, but it has captivated the eyes, ears, and attention of the dogs.

Look at the dogs!

They’ve got their heads down in a downward dog pose if you’re familiar with yoga. This type of position means the dog is interested in something and wants to get closer.

And look at the dogs. They’re very much interested in the bird’s songs.

To be more specific, the brown dog (the one on the left) is in a play-bow position.

“This is when dogs place their chest on the ground with their rump in the air. As the name implies, it’s used to initiate play with other dogs and even with people,” the American Kennel Club explained.

The eyes are also a good indicator of the emotions or behavior of a dog.

They have soft, squinting eyes with relaxed lids, which means they’re calm or happy. It seems like the bird’s musical prowess is soothing and relaxing for the dogs, at least.

And their tails!

There are two things to look out for in a dog’s wagging tail, the direction, and the speed.

The tail of the dog on the left wags horizontally with big, broad moves.

“A tail held straight out indicates a dog who is attentive and alert or perhaps curious about something nearby. [A big, broad wag] indicates a friendly dog who is not threatening anyone,” Hill’s Pet shared.

The bird is definitely loving the undivided attention it’s getting from the dogs.

It was lifting its head up and down and moving the head from dog to dog.

Even the bird’s pitch switched tones, especially since the dogs are just hanging on to every note.

We wonder how long the “concert” lasted. Did it end when the bird stopped singing?

Or did it end because the dogs got distracted and played something else? Or did it end because their humans ended the concert?

The viewers did have different theories.

Some joked that the three of them were planning a heist and the bird was the leader. The bird was telling the dogs their exact plans:

“Bust out tonight at 1am, Frankie you’ll be look out, T-bone you come with me”

Some said the bird was a great philosopher that has captivated their audience’s attention.

The dogs were engrossed in what the bird had to say, and they can’t help but just stare:

“The bird is obviously spitting some hot bars that we don’t understand but the dogs totally get it.”

And there were some who wrote a story based on this scene and said they were planning to steal the human food:

“Bird: Alright, this is how it goes down, I’ll distract the Humans and you two grab the food and dip.

Brown dog: who grabs the food?

White dog: no fool, we dip the food first…

Bird: that’s not what I meant when I say dip.”
