Growing old with a friend is a wonderful thing. You have so many stories and funny things to remember together. These two cats seem to be in their version of a rocking chair on the front porch!

For a cat to make it to 18 years it pretty astonishing. This cat got to watch his friend grow up as he grew old. What a wonderful and heartwarming thing.

Sparta the cat used to love to lay in his food bowl (for some odd reason). Nowadays, he still tries to do it! He succeeds, sort of. Just a little tighter than it used to be.

When this cat was little it used to be much more of a fight! Nowadays he is able to battle off the croc a little easier. I don’t think he cares all that much!

This cat went from “cute kitten” to “How goeth your day?”! She looks quite regal and matured in these photos. What a transformation.

What is it with cats and sinks?! Maybe there is something they know that we don’t. It might just be a bit cooler in there, perhaps.

These two gray cats look mischevious as can be. They make up for it in their cuteness, however! They were such cute kittens.

Einstein was on his last life when he was rescued. You wouldn’t even recognize him compared to the cat he is today! It is wonderful to see what a little bit of TLC can do.

Sadie the cat seems to have a thing for shoes. As a kitten she loved to play with them and chew them up! Now, she is matured in how she destroys them.

This tabby seems to have gained a bit of weight over the years! A decade of catnip will do that to you, it seems. The two of them don’t seem to care.

Bugs was found and rescued with a harelip. It often can result in death but Bugs was taken in and cared for! He looks quite handsome in the second picture.

These two have been together since the beginning! Through thick and thin they always have time for a snuggle. From the looks of things, that is one old kitty!

The arm of this couch has seem some serious naptime over the years. It looks like it isn’t going to stop anytime soon either!

These two graceful cats grew up as sisters. They looked wonderful and gentle even as kittens. Now, they look just as wonderful and cute.

Even after 17 years these two are friends. Even know they both look a bit different (check out that hair!), they are still together. You don’t leave your friends behind.

Smoothie the cat may be one of the prettiest kitties you have seen. Even as a kitten, her fluff was awesome! Over the years it looks like her eyes changed color and are now a beautiful green.

The eyes are the windows to the soul and this car can stare right through you! Coby the cat looked cute as a kitten and stunning as an adult. Those piercing eyes are the best.

One minute you are petting them as a little kitten on the windowsill. The next minute you turn around and they take up the whole thing! They never stop being cute, however.

This little black cat is so round! His name is Gizmo and his little face got bigger but didn’t change its shape as he got older. Thank goodness, too! It adds so much character.

Niko looks like some creature out of the forest! As a kitten, he looked quite normal, especially with his cute little bowtie. I think its those tufts of ear fur that make the change so drastic.

Bum the cat has a hilarious name and an eye condition. The resulting kitten looks like he is always worried! Even as a kitten he looked like he just got in trouble.

This is one of the smallest kittens ever! In the first picture you can see just how small he is. The second one is 15 years later and Chewy’s owner has the same smile.

Did your mom ever buy you clothes preemtively, hoping you would grow into it? This little cat got a bowtie and grew into it over the years! He looks great.

Cats are never good at hiding their facial expressions, are they? As humans, we can sometimes relate. In this photo you can at least tell that Humphrey seems to enjoy sitting in Harison’s lap.

These cats are so incredible that they almost look fake! These two twins grew up together and their looks only got more lithe and elegant. Those eyes are insane!

This car was found at a construction site next to her dead siblings and mom. After a year of love and care, she looks like this. What an incredible recovery.

This is Hamilton, the hipster cat! Why, you ask? The curling mustache that he has! It looks wonderful. He strokes it when he enjoyed quality catnip.

Mostarda is an Italian fruit dish that is made of fruit and mustard syrup. If you look at it, you will see where Mostarda gets his name from! What a funny little coincidence.

While this kitten didn’t actually explode, he did get huge! As a kitten he was so small but he grew up and blew up, quick! He is still a cutie, though.

Kevin is a cat that was born with disabities surrounding his eyes. One of them turns inward and he can’t control it. As a result, he always looks like he is surprised!

This cat is named Pumpkin and her eyes are gorgeous! She looks so graceful and delicate. She was beautiful before AND after.

No matter how hard you try, your cat is gonna come sit on your keyboard looking for attention. In the current global state, working from home is more common. Cats like this are soaking up all the extra attention!

As kids, we all had a favorite stuffed animal or blanket. It looks like our pets do too! Teddy grew up with an stuffed duck and he still loves him to this day.

A hobby is something you can enjoy for years! Margot seems to have picked up skating when she was just a kitten. Nowadays she can be found shredding in the streets hitting sick tricks.

I grew up with a stuffed monkey named, well, Monkey. We aren’t too creative with names as kids, are we? It never impacted our wonderful friendship, however.

Foxi was a cute kitty! Growing up seems to have just made he a bit more mature. She may even look a little less angry than she did as a little one.

We can’t always judge a cat by their facial expressions. This cat is hilarious and even looks a little angry or sleepy in his photos! I’m sure he still loves to cuddle.

A “glow-up” is when someone looks one way as a baby and then “glows-up” and looks better than they did before. This cat didn’t look bad before, she just looks matured and well mannered!

These two recreated a photo that was taken years ago! They were about to put their cat to sleep and wanted something fond to remember her by. It even included a onsie to complete the picture!

With a name like McFly, this cat is sure to have some personality! He obviously needs some more attention when his owner is working. How dare he type instead of pet him!

Parrots are known for sitting on shoulders and just hanging out! This cat seems to have gotten its species mixed up because after 6 years, he still loves to sit on his owners shoulder.

Every neighborhood seems to have stray kittens in it at some point. These two cats must have found the right house because they were saved! After a year they look so happy.

Some cats are beautiful from kitten to adult. Lucina is one of those cats! She is just so lithe and graceful. She almost looks like a wild animal that just so happens to live in a home.

While I don’t know what kind of condition this cat has, one this is for sure – he is cute! Even if little Humphrey here isn’t “normal” looking, he still deserves all the love and snuggles.

Nimbus is a cool name and a cooler looking cat! He looks like he might command an army of cats! He is definitely a leader among cats and sort of reminds me of Mufasa.

The old saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” This seems to be true for sleeping positions, as well. This cat is sleeping in the same position two years later.

Girls across the world pay to have their eyebrows done professionally. They also spend money to make them look certain ways. This cat seems to have been given the gift of hilarious eyebrows! Even as a kitten you can see them.

Rupert is a cat that always seems to be a bit concerned with things. Even as a kitten, his little eyebrows slant down and his forehead makes him look like he is watching you make a poor decision.

Juo was a kitten back in 2011 and this is him now! It never hurts to have a smile on your face and I think Juno has figured out what it means to be happy – he hasn’t stopped smiling in 9 years!

Venus has one of those incredible coats that some cats are born with. It looks like over the years she has only gotten a bit bigger! Her coat never changed, thankfully, and she looks awesome.

These two cats are named Gremlyin and Gremlyang! When they are together they look like the ancient Yin and Yang symbol. Thsat is some creative naming for sure.

The cat named Lil Bub is sure to make hearts melt. As a kitten he was adorable, even with his little deformity. Once he grew up, he really grew into his body!

Once a thief, always a thief, right? This cat seems to prove it! As a kitten AND an adult cat, he can’t help but sneak in to the fridge and look for any food he can get his hands on.
