If you’ve ever had a dog before, then you know they’re the most amazing creatures to have in your life. Not only are they a ton of fun to play with, but they’re also super loyal. They love their families more than anything in the world.

No matter what breed you’re talking about, dogs are among the most loving animals in the world. And when you’re growing up, owning a pup is a magical experience. After all, you get to learn and grow with a little friend who loves you unconditionally. Who doesn’t want that for their child?

That’s what Kristin Leigh Rhynehart wanted

This mom knew she wanted her pup to be an important part of her daughter’s life. She introduced her baby Addison to her dog Raven immediately after her daughter came home from the hospital. She hoped they’d become fast friends.

But one day, Raven went missing

At first, Kristin wasn’t worried. She looked around for the missing dog but after searching everywhere, she realized the pup was nowhere to be found. She tried to think of where he might be.

She checked her daughter’s room

Kristin realized the only place she hadn’t looked for Raven was in her daughter’s room. So, he might be in there. Since Addison was sleeping and she didn’t want to wake her up, she quietly poked her head inside the room.

The best protector

Most people get dogs to have a companion to hang out with. But there’s another added benefit, which is something to consider if you have a child. Dogs are very protective. After seeing Raven cuddled up with her daughter, Kristen knew she could count on him to keep her little girl safe.
