Despite their size, they’re pretty needy and most of the time they don’t respect their owner’s personal space. It just makes you want to love them more. Here are 50 pets who don’t realize how big they are but still want to be treated as their owner’s babies.
1. Occupying the whole couch
Leonberger dogs are big enough already. However, for a 7-month old Leonberger, you have to admit that he’s a little too big. He’s almost as big as this 3-person couch.
There’s a reason why Great Danes have “great” in their names. They get pretty big for a large dog breed. Well, here’s Benji, and he’s using his large stature to judge his neighbors from his height.
The new neighbor’s dog took the initiative to make friends with everyone. He looks so friendly and cuddly, that anyone would want to pet him. His name is Mowgli, but it seems to me that he’s the one who adopted him.
Apparently, a king-sized bed is not enough for these dogs. They’re just too big that the only place their owner has at night is the living room couch. Maybe they need to buy another king-sized bed and scooch them together.
This dog’s quite the big boy himself, but he remains a lapdog. Doesn’t his head look a bit too big? Perhaps it’s the camera angle that makes it look like his head’s zoomed in.
Though they have quite an intimidating size, Irish Wolfhounds make great pets. They’re sweet and gentle, and especially great if you can get them outside for exercises. If you’re a fairly active person, you’d find these big dogs an enjoyable company.

It’s one thing when your cat sits on your computer’s keyboard, but a cat as big as this? The keyboard is even gone out of sight. Perhaps the mouse and the mousepad’s underneath him too.
11. A series of big boy Diesel
Diesel is a large Alaskan Malamute. As you can see, he’s almost bigger than most things inside the house. He loves howling, apparently.
Diesel’s an 11-month old pooch, but he sure grew up so much. In fact, here’s one of the big hugs he gives to his owners. His sibling probably wants one too.
Aside from big hugs, he also gives some huge kisses. He can easily reach you even when you’re standing because he’s just as tall when he’s standing on two legs. The owners sure are lucky to have a cuddly dog like him.

This large cat is Busta. This is his pillow. This 6-year old girl is sometimes lucky if Busta allows an inch of space for her.

I wonder what got this cat so tired. Maybe they practiced long jumps in the yard or something. Whatever it is, he deserves to have a long nap.

The Yukon XL is already quite a large SUV. However, with this dog sitting on the backseat, it looks like it’s too cramped. Maybe this Alaskan Malamute is actually a real wolf.
17. It’s like he’s just getting bigger
This awfully large cat loves to be carried like a baby. Even after a few years, with a few pounds gained, it’s still the same. You’d just be surprised how this cat could get in the next few years.
This cat almost looks like it inhabits the mountainous parts. However, he is but a spoiled housecat. Funny how he looks like he’s caught red-handed of a crime though.

Don’t mistake him for a pillow. Once you put your head into his belly, the next thing you know is your face is bleeding. They have claws after all.
These two Great Danes have no idea that they’re almost as big as the couch. Even though they’re just as big as their owner, they still stick to their old habits. Lapdogs will be lapdogs, I suppose.

If you’re looking for a guardian for your kids, a large dog is the way to go. They’re not as bad as people say. Aside from that, they can also be their best friends.
25. Outgrew his favorite spot
This cat’s favorite spot is that one chair in the kitchen. Over time, he outgrew it. However, he still takes his afternoon naps there despite him taking over almost the entire space with just his belly.
Her favorite spot is the space between her owner’s plants. However, ever since she grew this big, her owner thought that he won’t be napping there anymore. Turns out her owner was wrong. Although, she’s very careful when making his way between the plants.
This cat doesn’t want anyone to look at him like everyone’s judging him for eating a second set of meals during dinner. He doesn’t want your concern. He’s curvy and he likes it.
28. An unusually large baby
This adorable Newfie just doesn’t realize how big and heavy he is. He obviously still thinks of himself as a puppy. His owner still has to carry him around, especially when he’s tired with the walks.

With his size and confident stature, he looks like he could be trained for anything. He could even be a dog lifeguard and no one will complain.

This floofy giant just turned four years old. He could work out quite an appetite, so his birthday present is a big yummy feast. You can just tell how excited he is to munch his birthday cake.
This 80-pound Alaskan Malamute still hasn’t got over his owners carrying him like a baby. Although, the owners love doing it for him. He seems to love the sight from up there.
32. Now this is a humongous dog
This dad’s height is 6’2” yet this Great Dane is way much taller than him when he stands on two feet. His nose even looks like it’s almost touching the ceiling. They should attach the shelves a little higher.
33. What are they feeding him?
Maine coon cats are one of the largest domesticated cat breeds in the world. Though, this Maine coon can already be considered a giant. He’s even almost as tall as his owner being held like this.
34. A big ray of sunshine
Happiness is the only word you can see in this photo. This large dog is a pleasant ray of sunshine, and his owner is very lucky to have him.
It’s “Take your dog to work day” and someone brought this 130-pound happy pill. He became everybody’s favorite lap dog in no time. I bet it improved productivity in the workplace, or perhaps not.

Apparently, the cat’s owner is crying with joy after seeing the two finally hit it off. Samson, the big cat is quite a stubborn cat. If you visit their Instagram, you’d see that over time, they eventually became the closest of friends.
Big pets have the biggest hearts, and these people are more than fortunate to have them. No matter what bad things other people say about them, it doesn’t change the fact that these enormous pets are full of love. Though they could be naughty sometimes, they are still our favorite gentle giants.
