All pets are precious and unique in their own ways.

Though many pet owners seem to enjoy having debates about which pet is smarter or cuter.

One of the most common debates is whether dogs are smarter than cats.

What do you think?

According to National geographic:

“Dogs, it turns out, have about twice the number of neurons in their cerebral cortexes than what cats have, which suggests they could be about twice as intelligent.”

Do you agree?

A video that was posted may prove otherwise. In this video that garnered more than 1M views, we see two beautiful cats, Roy and Moss.

They presented the cats with a toy.

It’s called a Trixie Dog Activity.

As the name suggests, this toy is for dogs. It aims to challenge and reward dogs with treats.

The Trixie dog activity strategy game is called a Gambling Tower.

Gambling Tower has three retractable levels and comes with three cups to play the shell game.

Dogs would have loads of fun as they try to pull out the levels following the right order to get the treats for them to enjoy.

The owners of Roy and Moss decided it would be fun to let the duo try the dog game for themselves.

Could they do it?

Roy and Moss, according to their owners, are Norwegian cats. They are brothers that came from the same litter, and they were born on August 27, 2018.

If you think their names sound familiar, then you are right. The owners named them after the IT Crowd characters.

Uniquely clever

According to their owners, Roy and Moss are smart – in their own ways.

The cat on the left is Moss, who is naturally keen on solving puzzles and is also food motivated, but he has trouble covering his poop.

Roy is different

Roy can open drawers, cabinets, and drawers. For this dog treat toy experiment, the pet owners enticed the cats with Miamor 100% dried chicken cubes.

They presented the Trixie toy on a table and Moss comes to check first.

Roy jumps as well and then we see Moss effortlessly pulling the first layer of the toy.

Opportunity strikes and Roy tries to grab one treat.

Success!

Moss looks and studies the toy, and then he pulls the third layer, releasing one set of the yummy dried chicken cubes.

The brothers share their treats.

Roy even tried to insert his head inside the toy to see if he could get the treats. Moss, on the other hand, didn’t approve of his brother’s idea.

A game of focus

He was patient but was serious about his goals.

Then it was time for the last remaining layer. It took a while before Moss found the string, but he did.

He turned the toy to face him and then pulls the string, releasing more treats.

The brothers, once again, shared. If you think Roy and Moss are adorable, then you can follow them through their Instagram account.
