The internet is a beautiful, beautiful place. A place where you can get a good laugh, past some time, and see things weirder than your mind could ever imagine.
A place where cats recreate classic cinema.
Behold the weird magic of Movie Cats. Magic Cats is an Instagram account created by David and Sarah Chapman, a couple from England who recreate scenes from famous movies with their cats Tara and Willow as the stars.
“We have two cats (who are almost identical) named Willow and Tara, though Tara is featured in most of our movie cat pics,” David and Sarah told The Dodo. “We started doing it as a picture question in our pub quiz’s film/TV round, and it went down really well so we made it a regular thing.”
Sometimes things don’t always go as planned during their shoots.
So, they created a second account that offers a behind the scenes look at their Movie Cats page which is called Casual Movie Cats.
“It can be a challenge to get them to cooperate, but they get lots of treats so that tends to win them over to our nonsense,” they said. “We’re going to keep making them. It’s a hilarious way to spend a Sunday!”
Their shoots are usually completed within an hour two… that is as long as treats are involved.

“The cats clearly think we’re weird, but they get loads of treats doing it which tends to be their main focus,” Sarah and David told LoveMeow.
Sarah and Dave told BuzzFeed that they have some more reactions in mind but they can’t reveal them yet because they are saving them for their pub trivia game.
