Most people completely misunderstand cows. Especially when someone’s never been around one, they think this animal is dumb and useless. But the truth is that cows are social creatures, they’re smart, and a lot of them show affection.

Hating to be cooped up

Across the country, this past winter has been brutal. Not only has it kept humans inside their homes but also cows in barns. Like people, animals become stressed when they can’t get outdoors for long periods.

Life on a farm

A lot of work goes into raising cattle. After all, they eat a lot and there’s always manure to clean up. But at one farm, the owner and his workers don’t mind at all because they love what they do and the cows they raise.

His passion

Tom continues expressing how much he loves to raise cattle. He says that with all the rain, snow, and mud, getting them outside was difficult. But he’s excited to introduce them to fresh grass, which in turn, means healthier and leaner meat.

Then he reaches zero

Back to the countdown, as soon as Tom gets to zero, the fun starts. The gate that kept the cows secure now opens. Within seconds, they all come out, eagerly heading toward the green pasture of fresh, sweet grass.
