Sometimes our pets can be very dramatic to say the least. It’s unclear what his mama did to little (okay, gigantic) Ralphie here, but he is not pleased!
Her partner caught a video of the hilarious exchange. Ralphie sits with a perfect pout on his bear-like face and holds out for a proper apology from his mum.
She’s trying to figure out what she’s done wrong and Ralphie just gives her an unimpressed look.
You know what you did, his eyes say.
Ralphie even seems to think Dad knows what Mommy did, because he stares at the camera like it’s an episode of the Office.
His mom begs him to tell her what she did. But he won’t even look at her.
“Are you mad at me? Did I do something to you?”
I’ve never seen a dog be so adorably petty! This is like me when I’m mad at my boyfriend for something he did to me in a dream.
Eventually, mom apologizes, even though she doesn’t know why she’s in trouble in the first place.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, can you give me a kiss?”
Ralphie looks like he wants to stay mad at her, but he just can’t do it. She said the magic words and he’s ready to forgive.
He gives up and goes in for a humungous fluffy hug and some sloppy dog kisses!
Can you imagine anything better than a hug from a giant teddybear like this guy?
Ralphie is a Newfoundland breed, which are known as some of the most gentle and intelligent dogs. So it’s no wonder he’s very emotional, if not a wee bit dramatic, too.
An average pup can understand about 150-200 words, and apparently for Ralphie, “sorry” is one of the most important ones!
Because of Newfie’s good temperaments, they make amazing family pets.

He, his dog brother, three human brothers, and human parents travel around the country in their campervan, and document their journey on Instagram.

Even as a little puppy, Ralphie had some cute, knowing eyes. This is similar to the look he gave his mom when looking for his apology. He’s been working on it for years!
