It’s not just about cleanliness; baths can work wonders for your heart health, mood, hormones, and even your bones and joints.

It’s a full-body refresh, inside and out.

Now, picture a couple of adorable mini Dachshunds, as excited for bath time as kids are for playtime.

These little furballs, with their playful spirits, can’t wait to jump into the tub and wash away the day’s adventures.

These two pups are a sight to behold, eagerly waiting to dash upstairs for their bath.

A makeshift fence is the only thing holding back their excitement.

As soon as their mom gives the signal, they’re off like lightning, racing upstairs with an enthusiasm that’s impressive for their small size.

The scene upstairs is equally endearing.

The first Dachshund, after a few attempts, successfully leaps into the tub.

The second, despite his best efforts, falls short.

But with a little help from mom, he too makes a splash, finally getting his paws wet.

Their love for water is evident, but how did their mom manage this?

A YouTube commenter, Alejandra554, shares her secret:

“When I first got them on their first bath I had the water at their knee level. For the first few baths, I would give them kibble while in the water while praising. Nothing motivates a dachshund more than dinner time :P slowly I would increase the water level. Also, I made sure the house and the water was a little warm. I think it’s the cold that they would hate the most.”

This advice could be a game-changer for anyone struggling with doggy bath time.

It’s all about patience, gradual adaptation, and, of course, a little bit of kibble!

H.L. Mencken once described these dogs as “half a dog high and a dog and a half long.”

Originally bred for hunting badgers and other burrowing animals, these small but mighty dogs are fearless.

Today, they’re more known for their adorable, sausage-like appearance, curiosity, and boundless energy, as seen in the shower video.

Their long, low, and short-legged bodies, designed for tunneling, also make them look comically perfect for hotdog buns!

When it comes to bathing your dog, the frequency can vary.

Some suggest weekly, others monthly, but the best gauge?

The sniff test. If your dog starts to smell, it’s bath time.

Fortunately for the owner of these two Dachshunds, bath time seems to be a breeze.
