This curiosity was shared by a cat owner who noticed his mornings were often disrupted in a peculiar way.
He began to suspect his cat’s involvement in his habitual oversleeping, pondering whether his furry companion was more than just an innocent bystander in the morning chaos.
What exactly was his cat up to at night?
Aaron Brown’s journey to pet ownership led him to Tormund, a cat that initially seemed shy and reserved.
Like many new pets, Tormund took his time getting accustomed to his new home.
However, it wasn’t long before he started showing his true, playful nature, much to Aaron’s delight and occasional dismay.
Tormund’s playful behavior soon escalated to more mischievous antics.
This included a suspicion that he had learned how to snooze Aaron’s alarm.
While Aaron had yet to catch him in the act, the evidence was starting to pile up, pointing towards Tormund’s involvement in the morning disturbances.
To get to the bottom of the mystery, Aaron decided to set up a camera in his bedroom to record Tormund’s nighttime activities.
The footage revealed Tormund’s energetic escapades, including his habit of jumping from one piece of furniture to another and even cuddling up next to Aaron, leaving behind a trail of cat hair.
He’s one busy kitty, that’s for sure! It’s as if Aaron’s room is like a big playground for him.
Aaron told The Dodo:
“I’m surprised I have no memory of the stuff that goes on for the majority of the night.”
The most surprising discovery from the footage was Tormund’s interaction with Aaron’s alarm clock.
The cat was caught on camera tapping the snooze button with his paw, a behavior that explained the disrupted mornings.
Aaron couldn’t help but laugh at the revelation, despite the potential consequences for his punctuality.
How could you not love a sweet cat like this?
Despite the occasional trouble Tormund caused, Aaron recognized that his kitten’s energetic behavior was simply a part of his charm.
Tormund was still young and full of life, qualities that Aaron cherished even when they led to unexpected wake-up calls.
Tormund’s antics only deepened Aaron’s affection for him.
Aaron hoped that Tormund might settle down a bit as he grew older, but for now, he was content to enjoy the lively personality that made Tormund so special.
