Man pulled over by cops after they spot him rolling down highway with bull in passenger seat
The man and his bull have their reasons and every law has its limits. 🐂😂

For most people on the job, it’s all about working till the cows come home. But for these officers, the cow came to them.

These Nebraskan police officers had the surprise of a lifetime when they received reports of a bull riding shotgun in a car.

I should make it clear that this was no calf.

This was a full-grown Watusi bull weighing over half a ton.

And it was nonchalantly sat in the car while they cruised down the road.

Of course, extensive modifications had to be made to the car so it could fit. The roof on the right-hand side had to be removed, and a sort of rudimentary roll-bar had to be installed. But otherwise, it could fit.

The Norfolk police received the call about the half-ton Watusi bull riding in the car and had to pull them over.

Now there’s a traffic violation they’ve probably not seen before. The animal sure is safe, I think. But it might be posing some potential danger to the vehicle’s durability or anyone else on the road.

On a side-note, it is pretty impressive that the car’s suspension can take it. I don’t suppose you could see this as an ad for this car and its suspension, no?

The bull remained surprisingly chill the whole time. I sure hope so.

I wouldn’t want to be around a half-ton Watusi bull when it’s having a grouchy day.

But as funny as the sight looked, the officers had to do their job. They performed a routine traffic stop and informed the driver about all the things that might go wrong with a bull riding in the side of your car.

The driver of the vehicle was Lee Meyer, and the bull’s name was Howdie Doodie.

It’s not clear where they were headed, but they weren’t being allowed to continue to their destination anyway.

Howdie Doodie wasn’t fussed at all about the inspection.

Despite his immense size and a pair of horns that he could easily have pointed the officers’ way, the bull was rather placid and easy to be around.

But driving around with his massive horns poking out is dangerous, and Lee can’t argue with that. If you’ve got an animal like this, a truck is what you should be driving. Besides, Howdie Doodie could use more of the leg space too.

Though it makes you wonder how Lee got Howdie Doodie into the car in the first place. Honestly, I’m stumped too.

Lee must have his ways. Or Howdie Doodie must really like road trips.

Howdie Doodie couldn’t wait till they stopped at a gas station or a field, though. You can see some manure on the car right behind where he’s standing.

The officers wrote Lee a ticket, and asked him to drive back home.

If we wants to take the bull for a ride again, he’d best do it with a much bigger vehicle.

At least it was an eventful day for the officers, right?
