Our absolute favorite YouTube channels are those involving dogs, so of course, Funny Dog Bailey is up there as one of our most-watched. When we stumbled across a video of one of Bailey’s owners hiding under the pooch’s very own bed, we just knew that it was going to be hilarious.
Seeing Bailey’s reaction is completely priceless, though as it turns out, he’s much smarter than anticipated!

Bailey is a two-year-old Golden Retriever who is living his best life in the Costa Del Sol, Spain, with his mom and dad. His human parents post hilarious videos of Bailey getting up to all sorts of things onto his very own YouTube channel, and one of their latest videos really gave us a giggle.
The video, ‘Hiding from my Golden Retriever under his bed!’ was captioned, ‘See how I try to hide from my dog under his bed!’ and really gave us no insight into what Bailey’s reaction was going to be like – meaning that it was going to be the funniest surprise for us viewers.
The video begins with Bailey’s mom lifting her pup’s bed onto her husband, who curls up into a ball on the floor. Luckily, Bailey’s dog is big enough to cover a grown man, and once he’s been covered, there’s not an arm or leg in sight to give things away!
After this, Bailey’s mum sits on the couch and waits for Bailey to come in.
It isn’t long before Bailey trots in, obviously wondering what his mom and dad are up to. His mom stays on the couch with her eyes on her phone so as not to give anything away – but Bailey can’t have the wool pulled over his eyes!
The clever pooch sniffs out his dad’s scent almost instantly, and he leaps up excitedly on his bed to get a better sniff. He’s not sure why his dad would be hiding under his bed, but he thinks that it’s a brilliant game and he wants to play.
Bailey continues to jump and sniff around on top of his dad, and he seems to be thinking, “You’ve fallen asleep in the wrong bed, Dad!”
Eventually, his owner simply cannot hold back his laughter anymore, and he pulls off the bed to reveal himself to the pooch, laughing as he gives him a big cuddle.
