What would you do if you found a dog in a perilous situation?
While you may think you know the answer to this question, it’s impossible to know for sure what you’ll do until you find yourself in this situation. Then, you’ll have to make a split-second decision about what to do next.
That’s what a man in Russia had to do when he found a dog in need.
A man in Russia was minding his own business when he suddenly started to hear a strange, unknown sound.
He paused and observed the others around him. It did not seem like they cared or bothered to do anything about the sound. The man thought the sound was strange. It sounded like someone was crying or whimpering, but he could not put a finger on where it was coming from.
After doing some investigating, the man made a shocking realizing.
The crying was coming from underneath the sidewalk.
Refusing to ignore the cries for help, the man began to remove the stone piece from the freshly laid sidewalk. Onlookers gathered as they saw a man doing something strange, and everyone was flabbergasted by what was underneath the sidewalk.
The man dug out a pregnant dog that was buried alive.
This dog was trapped for two days beneath a sidewalk and had no access to water or food. It is unknown whether or not the dog was buried alive on purpose or whether it was accidental. Thankfully, one man did the right thing when others did not bother to spare their time or lend a hand.
Thankfully, this pup’s story has a happy ending.
The dog was taken in by a local rescue group, and thankfully, she and her puppies were healthy after her ordeal. The rescue group took care of the pup, and once she was ready, they put her up for adoption. Now, she’ll get to spend her days in a happy home with people who love her.
The video of this incredible rescue went viral on YouTube, and many people were amazed by the unnamed man’s kindness.

We may never know how this dog ended up buried under the sidewalk, but thankfully, she now has a happy life ahead of her. And it’s all thanks to the kindness of one individual.
