It’s safe to say that everyone has experienced being scolded by their parents when they were kids, right? You could probably remember the times when you would just cry after being scolded, or froze out of fear because you heard your mom’s raging voice echo all over the house. Well, that kind of scenario isn’t limited to us humans.
How animals and human families resemble each other.
For some pet owners, it’s not rare to see their pets taking care of their offspring. It is funny to see how much a family of dogs closely resembles human families. For instance, you can see that they have their way of disciplining and training their young. Some pick their favorite of the litter, or some are pretty strict in handling all of their offspring.
This particular family of dogs would make some people remember the times when they were scolded by their mother.
In the video, you can see eight small Golden Retriever puppies who cannot wait for breakfast. As the owner opened the fence to let the mother in, all eight puppies swarmed all over her without even giving her the chance to make herself comfortable.
The mother, whose name is Rosalie, got fed up with her pups’ behavior, and she immediately jumped into action to put them in their place. Rosalie growled and barked at all of them, and they just started dropping their butts onto the floor.
Rosalie examined them all closely to see if they were all behaving.
Once she noticed a slight movement, she would turn to bark at them to stop their silliness. The adorable pups had no choice but to calm down and listen to their furious mother. There was even that one pup who started moving only to be caught at the last second.
It took a while for the mom to calm her pups down. There are still those pups who attempted to play with the mother’s tail or just bite the chair out of frustration. When they were all down and quiet, Rosalie then started to examine and groom the pups one by one. Rosalie’s way of enforcing discipline instantly garnered results.
The pups were eight weeks old when the video was filmed, and it was just the right time to slowly work on their transition to dog food.
Dog moms would know when to stop feeding their puppies milk, and in that video, Rosalie made it clear with her pups that they were old enough to be drinking her milk. It just shows how much parenting experience Rosalie already had at the time. The owner also mentioned in the video description that this was Rosalie’s last litter.
Everyone in the YouTube comments section went wild with their witty and hilarious comments.
Most of the YouTube comments revolved around Rosalie and her pups. Some joked around about changing their life after hearing Rosalie’s motherly bark, and some also shared specific parenting stories of their own.
