Dogs are such funny animals. In a lot of ways, they act just like humans. That includes playing, napping, eating, getting embarrassed, feeling sad, and even holding a grudge. Pups are also loyal, loving, and protective of their humans. Those are all reasons why they’re considered “man’s best friend.”

The Malamute

This particular breed is pretty amazing. Known for being playful, loving, and affectionate, they make great dogs for people with kids. But Malamutes are also highly dignified and proud. So, when something happens that they don’t particularly like, they’ll probably let you know.

Tonka is an awesome dog

This Malamute adores his family. He’d do just about anything in the world to please them. But one day, his mom did something that made him mad. After that, he refused to even look at her.

He loves the water

Like most dogs of this breed, Tonka loves the water. He enjoys swimming and splashing around. So, some of his favorite adventures include trips to the park or the mountains where there’s a pool of water for him to play in.

There’s one exception

Tonka is even happy playing outside in a kiddie pool filled with water. But if there’s one thing he can’t stand…it’s a bath. Even hearing the word “bath” is enough to send this pup into a tailspin.

It’s that time

You guessed it. On the day mentioned, Tonka’s mom decided to bathe him. Let’s just say he was less than thrilled with the idea. Even so, she took him outside and proceeded to clean him up. But it was what happened afterward that’s so hysterical.

Viral video

Tonka’s mom posted two videos…one of him getting his bath and one when she finished. It’s the second one that has people on the internet cracking up. Once she uploaded them on social media, the video of him after his bath garnered more than 4.1 million views. It’s that funny.

“I don’t see you”

With Tonka dried off, his mom brought him back inside the house. But try as she might, this pup refused to look at her. She lovingly called his name but he continued to pretend he couldn’t hear or see her. He wasn’t a happy camper.

Getting mouthy

Although his mom kept her voice calm and steady, Tonka preferred to stare straight ahead. He was so mad at her that he copped an attitude. That’s when he lifted his head and got sassy. Hey, he had a lot to say.

Things only escalated

He didn’t care how much his mom tried to explain and apologize. He wasn’t having any of it. And to get his point across, he raised his head even higher and let out a long howl. Although he was serious, you can’t help but laugh.

He’s over it

No, not the holding the grudge part but listening to his mom talk. He then stood up and without even looking back at her, stomped out of the room. Tonka won’t ever admit it but after getting bathed, he looked amazing. And he probably felt a lot better, too.

Considering Tonka’s mom filmed this, you get the feeling that giving her the cold shoulder is his typical reaction to bath time. This video is great. For anyone who doesn’t think dogs give their humans a cold shoulder, check it out. You’re going to love it.
