Grown-ups acting up just because they didn’t get their way is downright ridiculous and annoying. See, when kids do it, it’s somewhat expected – at a certain age, that is. A toddler who scowls and crosses his arms after being told “no” isn’t automatically a spoiled child. It just so happens that the kid is at that age – the age where everything is just new, scary, and overwhelming.
At a very young age, kids cannot process their emotions well, hence the acting out bit. And it’s the parents’ responsibility to guide them through it all by gently setting boundaries and serving as examples of appropriate behavior.
But when a grown-up does it, well… that’s a different thing altogether.
You see, some people never outgrow the tantrums phase. They grow up armed with the thought that the whole world can and should revolve around them and anyone who thinks otherwise is automatically the problem. Clearly, this poses a number of challenges not just for the person but for the ones around him as well. You know, the poor ones who have to live with him.
Of course, we’re not here to focus on that. If you think kids and grown-ups throwing fits when they don’t get their way is ridiculous and annoying, you should see animals at it.
And no, it’s not as irritating.
In fact, it’s quite cute!
It’s tolerable and even amusing to witness simply because animals can’t verbalize and most importantly, they aren’t as self-centered and obnoxious like some people can be.
That’s why we’re gracing your screens with this delightful video of a bunny who just wanted to play with its friends, the dogs – to remind you that in the animal world, this form of defiance can actually be adorable.
See, the dogs were incredibly relaxed, all stretched out in front of the fireplace. It was the perfect spot (and time of day) for a nap. But the bunny had something else in mind and it did not involve lying around doing nothing. It badly wanted to play so it started moving about in front of its friends.
But to the bunny’s disappointment, none of her friends as much as blinked!
The poor thing didn’t know what else to do but it was clearly not pleased.
And even when it started stomping out of frustration, its two buddies still didn’t budge – like how you would expect parents to react when their kids start acting up.
Apparently, these two dogs are used to the bunny’s antics! What the bunny did after it failed to convince her friends to get up and play didn’t seem new to the two canines at all.
The two just remained in their spot, unfazed, contentedly resting by the fireplace. The bunny realized it was not going to be successful in getting her friends to play. Finally, it just gave up trying to get their attention.
