The weather is getting colder and the days are getting shorter, which can only mean one thing: the holiday season is here!
The holidays are a time to spend time with family and to enjoy the season of giving. And one little girl named Annie got a wonderful gift this holiday season.
On Christmas Day, little Annie was ecstatic, much like any child her age.
She had been anxiously waiting for this day to happen all year. This year, she had wished for a variety of gifts, and she was excited to see which gifts Santa brought her.
That morning, Mom took out her camera and filmed her precious daughter playing outside. She beckons her to move towards the family barn where her Christmas gift awaits her. As the little girl enters, she discovers that Dad is inside, sitting on the floor with a wide smile on his face.
It’s time for the big reveal!
Annie adorably chats with her mom as she wanders the barn. Annie notices a small basket on the ground, and she moves towards it. At first, she thought it was a gift for the horses, but then she realizes that they were for her.
“Those might be mine!” she excitedly says as she goes to the basket.
She was elated to receive a brush, markets, and a book. As Annie looks at the basket, her mom starts dropping hints about what’s going on. She cryptically says, “I think I hear some extra munching in here today.”
Annie continues to look through the basket. And then, she sees a white scroll hidden inside.
She opens it up and realizes it’s a letter from Santa! It reads, “I do not usually deliver ponies for Christmas, but you have been an exceptionally good little girl this year.”
Reading these words, Annie was stunned. She knew exactly what her gift was.
Annie is too excited to continue reading the letter after that, so her mom finishes it up:
“It was very difficult, but I found the nicest, sweetest pony in the whole world. His middle name is Snowflake, but his full name is Pepper Snowflake Clipper. He is yours to love and be your very best friend.”
As the doors open, her face lights up with a beautiful smile. She meets her very own pony, Pepper Snowflake Clipper.
What an awesome surprise!
It’s so adorable to watch Annie’s growing excitement as she realizes what her present is. And it’s clear she’s going to take great care of her pony — after all, she loves him so much already.
