With so much time spent at home lately, kids are finding new creative ways of staying busy. For one little girl, that means dancing around with her dog in the dining room. Her school friends aren’t coming over to play very frequently these days.

However, the family’s pet Goldendoodle is more than happy to keep her company.

The two of them have become besties during all of this time spent together.

Their heartwarming dance was recently shared on YouTube and it’s something that you don’t want to miss.

It might not have the high-production value of a professionally choreographed routine, but it is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. The short clip of the toddler joyously dancing around with the pup has been viewed thousands of times since it was first uploaded.

“Are you guys dancing?” the mom asks the two of them. The girl giggles back.

The video begins with the giant Goldendoodle’s arms wrapped around the shoulders of the girl.

They can be seen stumbling around and laughing while the mom films. There is gentle music in the background and both the girl and the animal sway to the beat the best that they can.

It’s not easy to do as there is a big size difference between the two of them.

The shaggy-looking pup is actually bigger than she is.

When standing on his hind legs, the dog stands at least a foot higher than the girl.

It’s also clear that he is much heavier. The girl struggles to support his weight as they dance around and it’s pretty funny to watch.

Considering the fact that dogs aren’t normally known for their dancing skills, it’s a big challenge for both of them.

However, that doesn’t stop them from trying anyway. It looks like so much fun!

“Momma, I’m dancing,” exclaims the girl!

“Yeah, you are dancing. You’re so good,” responds the mom.

The mom compliments the dog also, calling him “such a good dancer”.

Although, at the end of the video, they do almost run into a wall.

The dog’s weight is just too much for the little girl’s shoulders to handle.

Considering how big the pup is, it’s no surprise.

At first, you might think that it’s just an illusion. The dog is extremely fluffy and is a long-haired variety of Goldendoodle. However, underneath all of that fur, Goldendoodles actually have sizable bodies too. Here we have a smaller one with less hair for comparison.

A fully grown Goldendoodle typically weighs between 50 to 90 pounds!

Yet, they also think they are much smaller than they are. They are always jumping up on people and trying to get hugs. In this case, it resulted in a lovely dance around the dining room. Really, what else would you expect from a Goldendoodle though?

The breed is a mix between a Poodle and a Golden Retriever.

In our opinion, they are two of the friendliest breeds of dogs on the planet.

The girl and her friend the Goldendoodle definitely still have some work to do on their dance. However, we’re confident that they will eventually complete their full routine.

The pup is always up for some sort of activity, even if it is something that he isn’t normally used to such as dancing. As long as he is getting attention and hugs, he will play along. If you want, he will dance all day with you!

The mom is totally right, both of them are so good. With a little more time spent working on their steps, they’ll both be professionals before they know it.
