Two of the cutest things in the world are little girls and dogs. But when you combine the two, you usually end up with something spectacular. Thanks to parents who take the time to post adorable videos, we get to see this for ourselves.
Although one video hasn’t yet reached viral status, it should. It involves a dad trying to teach the family’s white French Bull Dog tricks. But his daughter wasn’t going to let the pup steal her thunder. Oh, no…she wanted in the action too.
Two peas in a pod
This video begins with a French Bull Dog named Nacho and a sweet little girl sitting on the floor side by side. We’re not sure, but we’re guessing she’s around two to three years old. Dressed in a floral top with coordinating pants and with her hair in pigtails, she’s simply precious.
She’s listening intently
By the look on this girl’s face, you can tell she’s taking in everything her dad says. The first command you hear him give Nacho is, “Can you shake?” At that same time, he reaches down to take hold of the pup’s paw. As he does, the little girl follows his actions with her head.
She had a different plan
Teasingly, the dad reaches down to his daughter, giving her the same command to “shake.” But instead of handing her hand to him, she reaches over and picks up the dog’s paw. She then shakes it. This interaction is so adorable to watch.
On to the next trick
The dad then asks the pup, “Can you lie down?” Without missing a beat, Nacho obeys. He gently slides to the floor on his belly. But instead of just watching as she did with the shake command, the girl also slides to the floor on her stomach.
She nailed it…the dog, not so much
Although Nacho has been doing great so far, the little girl passed him up on the next trick. The dad says, “Can you touch?” To that, the pup gets up on his hind legs but doesn’t reach out to touch the father. But his daughter does. She stretches her tiny hand in the air in an effort to complete the trick.
Such a good boy
For all his hard work in performing the tricks, this dad places something in his daughter’s hand, saying, “Can you give this cookie to Nacho?” She gently gives it to her furry friend. He in turn, carefully takes it from her.
“Hey, where’s my cookie?”
This is perhaps one of the cutest parts of the video. As this little girl reaches over to give Nacho his cookie, she stares at it with her mouth open. You can almost read her thoughts. “I did tricks too. Don’t I get a cookie?” We’re pretty sure she wouldn’t one of Nacho’s treats.
This breed has so much personality
If you’ve never owned a French Bull Dog, you’re missing out. Although all dogs are quirky in their own way, this breed is known for all kinds of antics. Take this one for example. Having put on too much weight, she had to go on a diet.
Not one bit happy
After staring at her food bowl for several minutes, she has a full-blown temper tantrum. Howling, she tries to send her owners a message. They get it but that doesn’t mean more food. Sorry pup.
If you have young children and you want to adopt a dog, consider the French Bull Dog. This breed is great with kids, highly intelligent, and they love to cuddle. If you do, who knows, you might end up having a cute video to share online.
