Anyone who owns a dog will tell you that they can be quite needy. For whatever reason, it seems to be in a dog’s instinct for them to absolutely love us humans, and nothing makes a dog’s day more than having your pure, undivided attention. Even if you’re attempting to have a conversation with somebody, this may be too much for your needy pooch and could trigger some (often hilarious) attention-seeking behavior.
So when a French Bulldog was trying to compete for his mom’s attention, he went to the most comical lengths to get her to turn her focus back towards him.
Despite being tiny, the little dog has a huge voice, and as his mom attempts to chat with somebody, he belts out some pretty impressive-sounding opera. The whole hilarious moment was caught on camera by the dog’s mom and uploaded onto YouTube for us all to see.
This little dog seems to have had so many hilarious moments that his owners decided to set up a YouTube account just for him. The account is named Walter Geoffrey the Frenchie, and it features the sassy Frenchie having a meltdown, sleeping, and even screaming, alongside the video of his impressive opera singing, titled, “Rude Interruption”.
Since being posted, the video has received over 530k views, as people can’t stop laughing about the surreal sound that comes from the little dog’s mouth.
Despite being only 25 seconds long, the video packs so much humor into that short amount of time, and we already want to see more of this silly pooch!
The video begins with a shot of Walter leaning out of the car window. As his mom attempts to speak, he drowns out her voice with a noise that we can only describe as doggie opera singing. Despite his impressive talent, his mom asks him to quiet down so that she can finish her conversation.
“You cannot keep interrupting,” she says, holding her finger to his lips. “I’m having a conversation.”
But the cheeky little pup just doesn’t want to listen. It seems that this isn’t the first time that Walter has used this technique for an interruption. As he continues to ‘sing’, his mom shouts over the noise: “Stop embarrassing me again, you’re getting me in trouble.”
Of course, Walter doesn’t listen; he simply sings louder. It’s so funny to see the extent that he will go to to get his mom’s attention, and many users felt the same way. One person commented:
“Walter needs a contract. I’d buy his album.”
Another added:
“My favorite dog singer!!! Love Walter!!!”
A final person said, “We demand more Walter videos! I’ve never laughed so hard in my life!”
