To dogs, almost every surface becomes a playground and even though they make a mess of things, we still end up letting them get away with it most of the time. Sometimes, dogs just cannot hide their own excitement from their owners. Just like this particular tiny dog who can’t hold back his joy for much longer as his owner allows him on the bed.
Dachshunds are such mischievous yet adorable dogs.
These dog’s main features are their elongated body and short legs, which leads to people referring to them as sausage dogs. Dachshunds are also known as Badger dogs because of their adept skill at burrowing; especially when these dogs were originally bred to hunt other burrowing animals like rabbits and foxes. As house dogs, they are both great as tiny guard dogs and an amusing playmate.
Meet Pepper, a playful female dachshund that never loses its excitement to every little thing that she comes across.
It is a wonder how dachshunds like Pepper could hold a lot of energy inside their tiny body. Amazingly, despite their short stature, they’re always filled with bottomless reserves of energy. If you don’t know what I mean, this video will show you what it looks like to have a dachshund in the house.
This owner allows her dogs to play on the bed and this tiny dog eagerly rushes in first.
One time, Pepper’s owner decided to allow the dogs on the bed. When the owner finally lets the two dogs, Pepper and another senior dog came into the bedroom, and the tiny Pepper immediately overtook the other dog. The excited Pepper then quickly climbed up on the bed and lost it as she suddenly started running around in circles.
Oozing with excitement, Pepper also wanted someone to play with her
Pepper continued trampling the bed’s white sheets but she would stop and stare at the other dog and her owner for a while as if she is inviting both of them over to play. The tireless pup kept running around paying no mind to the pillows she knocked over the bed. At the next cut, you could see the other dog joining Pepper. The bigger dog just minded his own business, playing with a stuffed toy that he picked up.
Meanwhile, Pepper tries to annoy his friend by running back and forth. You could clearly see the difference between the dogs’ energy levels while playing. In the end, the other paid no attention to the energetic Pepper and just continued what he was doing. Finally, Pepper dropped on the cozy bed to take a quick rest after spending a lot of time goofing around.
The internet really loved this short clip of Pepper running around on the bed.
Pepper’s owner was able to record some clips and decided to post it on the internet. The video then got featured at Rumble Viral’s YouTube channel wherein the clip was viewed for over 1.29 million times.
Some viewers expressed their wholesome reactions upon watching the video by leaving their comments. YouTube user, Neon Music, wrote:
“I like how at the end they just stare at each other quietly, look around and wonder.. ‘ok well I guess that was that.’”
