“I thought it was something extremely nice and worthy of sharing,” Edith said. “I think it’s a sign of genuine friendship and love. Something we should see more among people.”
Your best friend will be by your side no matter what. This is someone you can laugh with, cry with, and celebrate life with. We often think of humans as having best friends, but dogs can have best buddies, too.
Edith Govea was visiting family in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, when she saw a sight that warmed her heart. Two dogs proved themselves to be the best of friends, and Edith couldn’t help but share the sweet moment with as many people as possible.
A small white dog stood outside another property, struggling to see over the gate. Edith wondered what this pup could be up to when she saw a German Shepherd peek his head over.
The little dog held onto the gate as the bigger one approached. The two locked in a warm embrace, and Edith knew that they were longtime friends.
Edith shared with The Dodo that the small white dog lived with a family close by. Apparently, this pup was able to take himself on walks, and he never missed a chance to visit his best friend.
The viewer’s heart was warmed by the interaction, but then something even more incredible happened. The small dog started struggling to climb into the yard where the German Shepherd was waiting.
The dog jumped up and forced itself between the bars that kept the pups apart. Just when it seemed like the little one wouldn’t make it, the big dog helped him out.
Once the white dog was successfully reunited with his best friend, the two relaxed together in the German Shepher’s resting spot. Edith watched in amazement as these dogs put in so much effort to being together.
“It seems they are very good friends,” she observed. These two dogs would not let anything come between them, and they had figured out how to work together so they would never be separated for long.
