Our canine friends require a lot of love and attention every day. If you’re a dog person, you probably know how important it is to spend quality time with your dog. There are times, however, when some dog owners get a bit naughty and decide to test their dog’s feelings toward them!
Some dogs may whimper and be sad, some may express their disapproval by behaving distanced and aloof, but some dogs don’t have qualms about clearly showing their disapproval! This guy tried to ignore his labrador and the results were hilarious!
Dogs and their owners share a special bond

Their ability to do so is pretty unique in the animal kingdom and it extends to reading facial expressions, as well as recognizing our mood based on the tone of our voice!
It comes as no surprise that the labrador from the video realized something’s amiss when his owner started ignoring him!

As we begin to watch the video, we see the labrador and his keeper engaged in a silent battle of wills! The labrador is staring at his owner who avoids looking at him but can’t hold back a smile!
To voice his displeasure, the labrador whines, still not taking his eyes off his keeper. “Don’t you start with me!” is the only response he receives!
Your dog is more attuned to your emotions than you’ve previously thought
Going back to what we said about dogs’ ability to recognize our mood, all the evidence points out to their superb capability at determining human emotions. Dogs can detect strong emotions like happiness, fear, and sadness mostly by using their superior sense of hearing.
That being said, we all know dogs can go even further than simply detecting our emotions. The more time we spend with your canine, the more likely he is to mirror your personality! Don’t be surprised if your dog detects your mood and starts to behave accordingly!
Nobody likes being ignored and it’s about time I showed my human friend how unhappy this canine is!
What we see next is the owner refusing to step down and still actively ignoring his furry friend, who, in turn, continues barking and whining. “Look at you! Start with me!” the guy from the video repeats, amused.
The moment he extends his hand to reach for his cell phone, something hilarious happens! The labrador, fed up with being ignored, goes on the offensive by throwing himself on his unruly owner who then bursts into laughter.
The game is over, now it’s make up time!
Seeing the labrador and his owner cuddle is a rewarding end to this video which started out on a dramatic note. No matter what, love always triumphs! No one likes being ignored, even if it’s a joke and there’s little doubt the guy from the video will have a lot of making up to do!
