Fall is fast approaching, and while we’re excited for pumpkin spice lattes, knitted sweaters, and cozying up inside, there are a few things that we’re not the biggest fans of during this season.
Orange and red leaves are one of the things that make fall so beautiful – but we’re not too fond of the constant leaf-sweeping that goes along with this. But if this story teaches us anything, it’s that when you have your finished pile of leaves, the opportunities for fun are endless.
If you’re like us, and deliberately walk through piles of dead leaves just to hear that satisfying crunch under your toes, then you’ll be able to relate to the dog in the video we’re about to show you. The sweet lab is obsessed with jumping into piles of leaves, and her owners decided to share her fall antics with the world. We have to admit, it looks so much fun, and we’re totally jealous that we can’t join in!
Stella the Labrador probably wishes that it could be fall all year round, as her favorite activity is jumping headfirst into huge piles of leaves.
Her owners decided to film some of her crazy leaf dives, and the videos are pure joy. Our favorite has to be a compilation of all of Stella’s best leaf dives, titled, “STELLA’S BEST LEAF JUMPS OF ALL TIME,” and we bet that you can’t watch this video without smiling.
The series of joyful clips were posted onto YouTube by Dog Named Stella, with the caption:
“I’ll just leaf this right here… Stella’s BEST LEAF JUMPS OF ALL TIME! Also Judith (her pupperfly alter ego).”
The video quickly gained over 4.8 million views!
Each clip shows Stella take on a different pile of leaves, and she never seems to get tired of the fun activity.
One of our favorite clips has to be where Stella is running in slow motion towards a huge pile of leaves and is dressed in the cutest little butterfly costume complete with wings (which we’re assuming is her pupperfly alter ego).
Close second is a video where a man, presumably Stella’s owner, bounces off a trampoline and into the pile. Not to be left out, Stella dives straight in after him – and lands right on top of him!
Despite being over three minutes long, we wish that this video was longer! Stella is truly in her element and you can tell how much she’s enjoying herself. Watch the adorable video for yourself below.
