Adorable Jack Russell teaches little baby how to crawl
She learned from the best!

Parents always want to catch the milestones of their children.

The first words, first laugh, and all the firsts that you expect them to do, we want to capture that and treasure it forever. So, when they make their little attempts, we assist them in doing it – with the cameras ready, of course.

But their attempts often end up as cute bloopers.

Well, they’re babies. We’d expect that they won’t do it perfectly the first time. Their learning process, especially with their motor skills, could take time. Still, we would turn on our phone cameras because who knows what they’ll start doing.

This mother tried to capture her daughter, Allie (aka Bear Bear), as she learned how to crawl.

However, it seemed like little Bear Bear was still trying to keep her bearings. You could see how she somehow had an idea of how to crawl based on her position.

But Allie didn’t seem how to know how to move.

Clueless on what to do, she found some help in her best friend, Buddy. Her adorable Jack Russell was right beside her cheering her on.

Buddy probably realized that Allie needed to see how to do it.

So, as the best bud he was, he showed tiny Bear Bear how to do it. He started to crawl using his front legs while dragging his hind legs. On the other hand, Allie looked at how Buddy did it, delighted that she had someone ‘demo’ it for her.

We bet Allie learned how to crawl after that.

A couple of years after, Valerie Schicho posted an update on these two best buddies. They still enjoyed each other’s company. And look! Allie’s already walking!

The funny part is that Buddy still did his little “crawl.”

When Bear Bear started to go on all fours and crawled, Buddy did the same. The years of friendship were evident in how they moved in sync with each other on that video. After all, Buddy showed her the ropes, one of her milestones in life.

Pets can actually contribute significantly to a child’s overall development.

The biggest contribution pets have on children is their sensory and emotional development. Having pets help a child develop their empathy, harmony, and responsibility.

But did you know that pets help develop a child’s motor skills, too?

The simple act of brushing their fur or feeding them something already help in their overall movement. Pets also encourage a child to walk and chase after them since babies and toddlers would think of a pet as their playmate. They’d love to do what they do as a form of play.

That is what Buddy and Allie showed us in their crawling videos.

And it wasn’t only proof of Allie’s development and how Buddy helped her. These videos are also proofs that their friendship has grown through the years.
