Animal activist Chris Poole owns a popular YouTube channel where he captures the daily adventures of his two adorable cats Cole and Marmalade. With over 600,000 subscribers, these two best friends are practically celebrities online.
One day, Chris decided to post a video of a couple of adorable kittens that were just rescued instead of the popular duo. The man was wondering why the furry little cats were always sleepy during the day, so he wanted to find out about their nightly activities.
Chris decided to install a night vision camera in their cage which brilliantly captures all the mischief and funny things they were doing.
“Hello, cat people! I’ve got some pretty exciting news. We’re currently fostering four very cute kittens that we helped rescue from a nearby abandoned property. And as many of you know, kittens are very playful, active, and just fun to watch. So I’ve decided to set up my night vision camera and see what action I could capture. And I wasn’t disappointed!”
As soon as the lights turn off, you can notice how the kittens aren’t trying to sleep at all. Instead, they’re jumping around frantically and just playing with each other. One of the cats tried to lick the camera, and another kitten even tried to test out his climbing skills on the cage. The four cats also used a small box as a sort of landing pad for their aerial tricks.
A small cat pole was brought into the mix on another occasion, and even in the middle of the night, you can see the group of cat friends reaching out for the fuzzy little balls at the top of the cat pole. Absolutely hilarious footage!
Because these four kittens were just rescued, they need to adapt slowly and get used to humans. Chris is now taking very good care of them and provides them with tons of love and affection until they’re fully recovered and ready to be put up for adoption.
“I’m sure you’ll agree that was some pretty funny stuff. These four cuties are still pretty feral. It’s going to take some time for them to get used to us big scary humans, but I’m confident that over time and with lots of TLC (tender loving care) they’ll learn to love us and we’ll get them ready to be adopted out into new forever homes.”
