If you ask anyone who they think is the perfect pair, they would probably answer with Batman and Robin, peanut butter and jelly, or even Mickey and Minnie. However, you wouldn’t be surprised if someone says “dogs and babies.” And this video will probably convince you that those who said it are right on the money!
Dogs could be your infant’s favorite playmate as they grow up.
Some people would never let their infant be near their dog because they are afraid that their dog would do something that may injure their child. However, dogs are much more clever than they think.
As a matter of fact, they know how to estimate their strength to match with their playmate. Some are also gentle around babies because they know that what they are seeing is a baby, a weak and a very dependent individual. Just, for example, this adorable Siberian husky along with a seven-month-old baby.
The baby was allowed to crawl on the carpet and the husky was there on guard duty.
The parents know that their baby is safe enough to be crawling on the floor, even with their husky around. In the video, you would see how the baby slowly crawled herway to the pooch who was trying to scratch his own back.
When the baby put his little palm on the dog, the dog then suddenly started playing with his toy, as if he is super excited to have a little playmate. The husky then rolled on his back, allowing the baby to lean on his body. Even though the baby was a bit curious about him, the husky was patient enough to let her do whatever she wants.
The gentle dog showered her with a bunch of kisses.
The husky closed in with his snoot and started giving licks and kisses on the baby until she also fell down on the floor. The pooch continued to give his relentless shower of licks and only stopped after a few seconds. Despite the baby continuing to wrestle him, the husky also never stopped being gentle toward her.
He would only give the baby’s small hands a little nibble then lick it afterward. Furthermore, he never hesitates to share a toy with his adorable playmate. What’s even more amazing was when the baby attempts to put the toy into the husky’s mouth. Their playtime just never stops being heart-melting and adorable.
Some would say those huskies are not great with children, but this video would certainly prove them wrong.
Because of the husky’s medium-sized build, stubbornness, and possessive qualities, Siberian huskies may not be the ideal dog breed to have around children. However, this one might be an exception, especially after you saw how this husky handles the baby pretty well.
They had shown that they are one adorable pair, and they had just the perfect dog-baby friendship. Since this video is from five years ago, they might have an even sweeter friendship now!

Some parent’s worries revolve around whether their pets are good for their babies. Introducing pets earlier to your babies is beneficial for both of them because they make each other happier, and even healthier. Although, if you are planning to do it, always supervise both of them, and maybe someday, their friendship will become exactly like these two in the video.
