Every pet owner wishes their pet could talk to them. We all want to know what is going through their mind or to let us know what they need. Mainly, we just want to know if they love us as much as we love them. Matt Gardea is luckiest pet owner because he knows that his dog, Mishka, loves him.
Gardea knows this because Mishka tells him.
Mishka means “teddy bear” in Russian and there is not a more perfect name for this loveable dog.
Mishka almost seems like a magic dog with her speaking abilities. Mishka is known as “Mishka the Talking Dog” because she has become so famous. In the video, Gardea and Mishka are relaxing on a bed and watching TV. Mishka is not watching TV though, he is watching his owners.
Then Gardea does what every pet owner does, he starts telling Mishka how much he loves her.
Normally, the one-sided conversation would end there but it does not.
After a few rounds of the owners telling Mishka how much they love her, she howls back. It is not a normal howl though, it is a talking howl. Mishka’s howl is her own version of “I love you” back to her owners. She does not just tell them once that she loves them, she tells them over and over again.
Huskies are known to be an intelligent breed of dogs. Their intelligence is downplayed at times because of their stubbornness. Yet, stubbornness to be independent does not take away from their intelligence. One of their intelligent traits is their great memory.
Pets KB states, “When they go out for walks they may lead you on a trail that they’ve been on before and not just yesterday, years ago! They will also remember where things are around the house so if you have a secret stash of dog-treats somewhere that they once saw the location of, don’t be surprised for them to ‘find’ them one day long after you forget about them!”
Mishka adorably telling her owners that she loves them too demonstrates how intelligent huskies really are. More importantly though, it shows how adorable Mishka is! Her great memory reminds her to tell her parents “I love you.”
Can we all give one collective “awwww” for Mishka’s love.
If I had a pet that was able to say “I love you” back to me, I would never tired of asking her. It seems like Mishka’s owners feel the same way. They tell her they love her many times and answers right back, but Mishka does have a limit.
After telling her owners that she loves them many times, Mishka lets out a long howl that she is done.
Mishka is not only known for saying I love you, even though it is her cutest saying. Mishka’s owners have put up hundreds of videos of her “talking.” In one video it sounds as if she learned the word no. When asked if she is stupid, Mishka quickly lets out a howl of “no.”
The video has been viewed over a whopping one hundred million times. The world might disagree on a lot, but we can all come together and enjoy a dog being able to say, “I love you.”
