Huskies are famous for their distinctive howl.
Huskies use this howl to communicate with each other, and the dogs can hear each other howl from up ten miles away!
When Huskies are adults, they typically have a low, mournful howl. But to achieve this howl, they have to practice a bit.
Husky parents will teach their young how to howl, as can be seen in this adorable video. This video shows a cute pack of young getting howling lessons!
This video comes from Instagrammer ana_wolfgang. Ana has two Huskies, Aurora and Axel. In spring 2017, Aurora became pregnant with a litter of puppies.
In summer 2017, Aurora gave birth to five healthy puppies. Ana shared cute photos and videos of the little ones and their parents on her Instagram page.
When the puppies were big enough, Aurora began teaching them how to howl. Ana quickly grabbed her camera and shot a video of the adorable moment.
Aurora stands in front of her puppies, howling towards the sky. The puppies all join in, howling in their high-pitched voices. At one point, the puppies get tired and stop. But then, one of the puppies starts up again and does a little solo. After a few moments, the other puppies follow suit.
There is one puppy that doesn’t participate, though. This puppy is more interested in getting belly rubs!
This sweet video was shared on Facebook, where it went massively viral. It has now been watched over 42 million times! Facebook users can’t get enough of these little Huskies.
In the video’s Facebook comments, people talked about cute the puppies were. There were also plenty of ‘Game of Thrones’ references!
Ana also shares lots of photos that show how good a mom Aurora is.
One sweet photo shows Aurora checking up on one of her babies. She sniffs his head, making sure all is good. What a great mama dog!
When the puppies were older, Ana started looking for good homes for them. She found great forever homes for the three of the puppies and decided to keep two of them, Athena and Chief. Aurora, Axel, Athena, and Chief all love hanging out together, and they always enjoy putting on a good howling concert.
