Meet the most unlikely buddies, the tiniest baby kitten and the sweetest husky you will ever lay your eyes on.
This sweet husky is the biggest protector that this little kitten will ever have. The husky watches every little move the kitten makes to make sure she is safe. The kitten seems to get annoyed by the husky’s overprotectiveness but as she grows she will probably realize she has the biggest best friend she could have ever asked for.
The overprotective Husky never lets the small kitten out of its sight. If the kitten is walking, the husky is walking; if the kitten is laying down, the husky is laying down. The husky and kitten are attached at the hip. When the kitten gets annoyed by her constant companion she will give out a little hiss or try and paw the husky.
The kitten’s sass is super cute and does not scare the husky one bit.
All the husky is waiting for the kitten to show some interest in him too.
If the kitten even looks at the husky, he gets super excited. He might be hoping for some play time, especially when he gently and playfully puts one of his paws out towards the kitten. The husky has a bit more time to wait until the kitten is ready to play with such a big animal.
During a part of the video, the husky laying lazy on the couch and watching the kitten play, when she suddenly falls off the couch. This husky’s reflexes are quick as he gets up fast to make sure she is ok. This owner does not have to worry about watching the kitten 24/7 because the husky is already watching over her.
This kitten is going to have a forever guardian with this husky.
Near the end of the video the kitten is finally in a playful mood. She starts to play with the husky, who could not be more excited about finally getting playtime. It is so amazing to watch such a big dog play so gently with the small kitten. While he is having fun and playing, he is also making sure he never gets to rough.
How sweet is this husky?
My Happy Husky’s website states that huskies can be good with kittens or cats if they have been trained to be. If they are not trained many huskies will have their prey instincts take over which could create a bad situation for the kittens or cats. It is unclear if this husky was trained to be so well mannered around the kitten or if he was just naturally protective. Either way this husky has been able to put away his prey instinct and only focus on its protective instinct.
He knows this kitten is family.
