When it comes to dog breeds, it’s hard to beat a Husky. For this particular type of pup, two three things stand out. First, they have beautiful coats. Second, most of them have stunning blue eyes. Third, they’re always vocal. As pack dogs, they instinctively howl and bark.

Even as a domestic pet, Huskies have a lot to say. Especially when around their owners, they want to be involved with everything. For one man, that included his Husky singing along with him.

His best friend

Tate Hegstrom lives in Grand Junction, Colorado along with his favorite pal — his gorgeous Husky named Kovu. These two have a special bond that’s immediately recognized the minute anyone sees them together.

Because of his profession, Tate knows the importance of keeping a safe distance from loved ones. Fortunately, he’s allows to return home after his shifts to his loving family and of course, his best friend, Kovu.

Doing something special together

Because Tate can’t go out to places like a lot of other people due to his job, he spends a significant amount of his free time with his dog. So, one night, he decided to sing a song. And you can probably guess what happened next.

Sharing music

In an adorable video that’s now gone viral, you see Tate playing the song, “Lean on Me.” As he strums his guitar, his trust friend sits right beside him. Although this guy has an amazing voice, it’s Kovu’s singing that captures everyone’s heart.

A beautiful duet

Together, Kovu and Tate sing. But what makes this video so funny is how this pup prefers to belt out the words. Just as Huskies would do in a pack, he proudly throws his head back and lets out the cutest howls.

He’s a soulful pup

Without question, this Husky is an old soul. Once Tate uploaded the video online, people couldn’t get enough it. As a matter of fact, it was so well-received that both Inside Edition and Good Morning America aired it.

It’s a feel-good video

If you’re struggling during the pandemic, you’re not alone. But thanks to videos like this one, you have a way to feel a little bit better. Although you might not have a Husky that sings, if you’re a pet owner, this is a reminder that you have a friend there by your side. If not, you can watch Tate and Kovu singing as many times as you want.
