Pet dogs believe that they are their parents’ babies when they are still the only ones being cuddled. However, when a baby arrives, they may feel a little jealous. But it is not difficult for some dog breeds to welcome a little angel.

Though the Siberian Husky is one of the most stubborn dog breeds, they can also be affectionate with their family and be friendly to kids.

Meet Lexi, still 10 months old in this video, and her sib Angel, a Siberian Husky.

The husky and baby go along together very well, and they look like best friends. The baby adores the pet for not feeling scared being with the dog that is so much bigger than her. She smiles while looking at the dog and listening to the sound that it is making.

The baby is in the stage of wanting to interact with others, regardless if it’s a human or animal. In this case, she wants to speak to their dog, being the only sibling she has probably.

The two are enjoying each other’s company. It looks like only they can understand each other, so we can never tell what their topic is about. Their parents are just looking at them a few steps away while they are having a nice chatter.

When Lexi tries to baby talk, Angel seems to respond.

The parents are quite amused that they didn’t interrupt the two. They are having a friendly interaction that lasted more than a couple of minutes or probably much longer before the camera starts recording.

Angel, the dog, responds with a sound each time the baby is babbling.

To answer the baby, the husky howls back. The baby is so delighted to hear the husky’s response that she tries to babble more and in a much louder tone. The husky is left with no choice but to converse with the baby. She can only stare at their parents, thinking about why she’s been placed in such a situation.

The more the baby talks, the more the husky howls as a response.

But, the husky is probably not interested in the discussion. Perhaps, the baby is sharing some corny jokes that her daddy tells her sometimes. Or Lexi is letting the husky know about what food she wants to eat, making the husky feel hungry that’s why she is also howling as loud as she can.

At times, the dog makes a sound even before the baby finishes her babble.

But wait, their interaction hasn’t ended yet.

As the baby is still seated in the same spot and the husky is fixed where she’s standing, the two are trying to exchange much louder noises. Perhaps, this is now a debate about what their parents will prepare for them on their next meal.

Not wanting to continue the discussion, the husky draws her face closer to the baby, making eye contact. But, the baby seems to plead that they continue their conversation.

Already having enough of the noises, the husky even gives a stare to her parents. She can only bark at them to let them know that she wants peace and silence.

The husky tries to walk away, but the baby follows her when she moves a little farther.

The dog then looks at her parents again and barks at them. Perhaps telling them, “Can this baby give me a break, please?”

As mentioned earlier, the Siberian Husky is a stubborn dog breed. Also, huskies have that possessive trait. They can be clingy to their parents, and this is something to consider for couples who are planning to have a baby with a husky in the home since possible jealousy may happen.

Though dogs can somehow get jealous when full attention is no longer given to them, but proper training and making them feel important can help ease the feeling. This will make them feel secure until they completely understand that it is okay to have a tiny human in the home. And you will be amazed at how the pet will become overprotective and love the baby like a sibling.

Be amused with the husky and baby’s mimicry in this video that has amassed over 35 million views.
