Dogs are amazing for so many reasons. From keeping us human company to making us laugh, dogs are indeed the best (sorry, cat lovers). And the internet definitely agrees with this sentiment.
YouTube is full of dog videos, from dogs performing at peak performance on obstacle courses to making friends with other types of animals; the internet has it all regarding dogs.
In this video, two huskies named Sky and Kokoa try different materials as flooring thanks to their owner pulling a prank on them.
For round one, the hallway floor is covered in bubble wrap. Both dogs immediately stop in front of the bubble wrap to inspect it. Hesitant at first, Sky soon ventures onto the bubbles, which of course, pop underneath her feet.
Meanwhile, Kokoa charges forward, hugging the wall like it’s a piece of cake! Eventually, after some internal debate and coxing from her owner, Sky follows along, completing the first round.
The second round is composed of what the dogs refer to as “space flor.” And yes, you heard that right, Kokoa and Sky talk. Well, not exactly, but thanks to some editing, we get to pretend like the dogs are commenting, and this might be the best part of the video as it adds more comedy.
This editing style of giving the dogs’ thought bubbles’ is popular on this YouTube channel, My Mountain Husky. Sky and Kokoa are known on the internet for their ASMR taste test videos, where they try new foods close up to a microphone.
When it comes to the “space flor,” Sky and Kokoa only take a few seconds before they trot right down the hallway together declaring it, “easy peasy” and “lik walkin on da moon.”
Next, round three is sticky paper, which Sky walks through with relative ease and, in doing so, clears a path for Kokoa.
Round four might be the best because it is made up of turf, which the dogs take on immediately. They are so excited about the turf because, like Sky says, “heken dog park inside.”
Unlike any of the previous rounds, Sky and Kokoa return to the turf to play with each other, and they seem to be loving every second of it!
And people in the comment section love it too. One person writes, “For the turf, you can literally see them telling each other: “It’s OUTSIDE, but it’s INSIDE!”
Another commenter says, “I liked when they went back on the turf because they realized they could wrestle on it without sliding around on the tile floor.”
The last part of the video considers what path Sky and Kokoa and Sky would take given a choice. Lucky for us, they are given a chance!
One strip of each material is lined up down the hallway. Which do you think they will choose? If you guess the turf, you are most definitely right! And we don’t blame them. It’s a dog park, but inside!
