Now we’re all used to seeing people getting love from their cats and dogs. They’re everywhere and even a little walk down your street would give you a glimpse of someone with their pet.
And who doesn’t enjoy receiving a little love from their animal friends?
A little horseplay won’t hurt.
What is not so common is seeing horses return their affection to humans. You would be forgiven for not knowing either. When mentioning horses, we think of galloping, cowboys, and movies. But don’t be fooled into thinking that they’re numb.
These horses are going to change your mind! Horses are actually very expressive when it comes to their love for humans.
Horses are pack animals. They enjoy company, hence horses feeling lonely when they’re alone. They have families so it only follows that they form an attachment with their humans as well!
If you’re curious, then yes, horses can pick up on your emotions too. They know when you’re angry, or sad, and happy. Just look at these horses with their humans. All telltale signs of horse love!
Look how they nuzzle and cuddle with their humans.
If that’s not love from an animal, then what is? And with their sizes, imagine how warm and cuddly they are. And notice how the people stay still just letting the horse give them love? That shows trust from both ends.
Horses are pretty much like other animals. They will approach you if they like you.
Dogs lick, cats rub, and horses kiss! It’s one of the surest signs that they love their humans. Don’t complain about the smell though. Horses will lick and kiss a hand or face. Kissing them back is up to you.
Those huge necks are powerful. So for a horse to wrap themselves around a human in a very gentle manner while they receive a hug and a rub is only them showing so much trust. And of course, love.
They’re just bigger babies.
One thing about horses is they really respond to a human’s vibe. They are also easily startled so if a person is constantly in a bad mood then a horse will pick up the energy. Chances are they’ll get agitated.
It’s important to stay calm, relaxed, and preferably happy. That’s if you want a horse hug and kiss.
Look at these horses just hugging it out with people. Emotional interaction relaxes everyone, doesn’t it? Horses feel it too! Let’s not overlook the fact that the people in this video took a lot of time to earn those horses’ trust.
Just like other pets, they need to be treated with respect. Once they understand that there is no threat, then they slowly bond with their human. Look at all the hugs and kisses!
You’ve got to hand it to the ladies, letting the horses slobber all over their hair and face. Imagine the smell. Imagine how sticky that would be. But they do it because it goes deeper than hygiene and quirks. It’s a mutual understanding not everybody can understand.
It really is amazing to see such big, powerful animals lower their guard and show that they are one with us if we let them.
