Are they thirsty or what?

Scrabble and Chance are two good looking horses. They really are. Tall, muscular, with lovely long hair and gentle eyes, these horses do look loved and cared for. They do make funny faces though.

Not sure if it’s a horse thing or done on purpose. But as they drink their fill, it looks like they sneak in a few playful moments with the water. Horses expel tons of energy when allowed to roam and run so naturally, they need to cool down. Like a car engine run at high speed, the cooling system has to do its job in circulating the coolant around the parts.

Same with these guys.

But those horse lips sure look funny! Come on, guys. It’s just water. Drink seriously.

“Majestic, beautiful creatures being ridiculously cute.”

Says a viewer.

Handsome and funny.

Now humans and horses have an ancient relationship. We’re talking some 4,000 years ago. There are both wild and domesticated horses but one thing’s for sure, these mammals are strong. They can do work, pulling and transporting, or serve as transportation for the early people. They’ve even played big roles in wars!

Scrabble and Chance look to be very good friends. They don’t mind being so close to each other, even sharing the source of the water. It may be possible that these two struck a deal before going for a drink. Make the funniest faces possible. There’s a camera.

Was that a smile?

Horses can drink anywhere from 35 to 45 liters of water and by the looks of it, Scrabble and Chance are filling their tummies with the good stuff. They need a full tank once that gate is open. Yes, funny faces and all.

These two have such gentle faces. It’s hard to imagine them at full gallop considering those docile looks. Or even think of them running with those funny faces. How can we humans take you two seriously now?

That’s one way of dealing with lockdowns.

It’s not like these two are vulnerable to the virus (I hope not). Still, Scrabble and Chance make for good company. It’s great that they thought of making people laugh with the simple act of drinking water. Very creative.

They even nudge noses and lips every once in awhile. Do they mind? Not even a bit.

Another viewer says,

“They are both soooo adorable playing with the water hose together.”

Scrabble and Chance are so comfortable together. In fact, they seem to be inseparable judging by their body language. A lot of other horses would react to having another horse get too close to them. These two may even share a space together. As buddies.

The horse has one of the best documented evolutionary lineage in all of Paleontology. We’re talking countless years back, complete with descriptions and records, from all the different breeding purposes to their uses and finally, to the present horses. They are beautiful animals.

Such a rich heritage.

Then you have these two who are at the moment more on the comedian side of things. Scrabble and Chance probably don’t care. So long as they have friends and plenty of water to go around. There’s nothing like horsing around!
