One such clever canine is Lulu, who devised an ingenious plan to dodge her appointment for spaying: playing dead on the morning of her appointment!

However, on this particular day, it was evident that Lulu was not in her usual high-spirited mood.
She was acutely aware of what the day had in store for her, and she was determined to avoid it at all costs.
Micki captured the amusing scene on camera as she found Lulu curled up in bed, lying on her back, motionless.
Despite Micki’s reminders about the impending vet visit, Lulu remained steadfast, her eyes shut and body still, clinging to the hope that her ruse would succeed.
Micki then attempted to coax Lulu out of her act by gently stroking her chest and rubbing her cheeks, hoping to ‘wake’ her.
But Lulu was resolute, maintaining her act with unwavering determination, hoping to evade the dreaded vet visit by any means necessary.
Despite the obvious fact that Lulu’s plan couldn’t fool them forever, her performance was remarkably convincing.
She executed the classic trick flawlessly, remaining utterly still and unresponsive to any sounds or touches.
“Are you pretending you’re a dead puppy?”
Micki asked, even resorting to yelling “Boo!” in an attempt to elicit a reaction from her comical canine.
Though Lulu remained unmoved.
However, Micki then thought of one surefire way to rouse her: treats!
Finally, after all her efforts, Lulu abandoned her act as soon as she heard the familiar rustling sound of her favorite treat bag.
It seems that even the fear of the vet couldn’t overpower her love for treats.
