This pup seems to know that it’s the day that she gets the most play and attention, which we certainly can’t begrudge her.

Still, we’ve never looked that happy on a Monday.

But will she sit still long enough for a drawing while keeping a smile?

Now that we think about it, we’re pretty jealous!

Frankly, we can’t even picture this dog looking sad. He doesn’t have the face for it.

Well, maybe the thought of a nice warm house to go into and take a nap.

No wonder dogs are always so happy – we treat them pretty well.

Of course, they deserve it.

Especially if there’s more treats that go along with it!

They’re so easy to please.

What a funny face for a pup to make.

And what a cutie!

They don’t yet know about diets, pet-free vacations, busy times at work, or being denied a treat. They only know that people can’t stop looking at them and giving them snuggles just because they’re so cute.

This positively meme-worthy pup is making sure he or she follows directions when their human says “smile!”

That or they caught the dog mid-sneeze.

And it looks like one canine guest had a bit too much to drink.

But the birthday girl looks like it’s her party and she’ll smile if she wants to.

The only good thing about this COVID mess has been being able to spend more time with our pets.

And they’re sure pretty stoked about it too.

It’s hard to think that just a bit earlier he was homeless and had no one to love him.

These two are all smiles as they start their new dog day with a jaunt around the yard side by side.

What could be better (at least for a dog)?

It’s such a genuinely happy-looking face that it’s hard to imagine that dogs just can’t smile.

But in this case, she really does look like she knows it’s her big day.

Golden Retrievers are pretty happy dogs, so we’re not surprised to come across photos of them looking smiley.

In fact, have you ever seen one look annoyed?

And to be fair, that’s what we look like when we treat ourselves too.

I guess we’re pretty lucky to be able to snack whenever we want.

Do you think they know how much we love it too?

Do you think there’s a treat involved here?

And who could get angry at this face?!

And with the wind in your hair, out on the open road, who could frown?

There’s no such thing!

He looks like he’s been treated well and is a happy pup in return.

If you can play with a pup naturally and get on their good side, you’re in!

Although this made us smile, so maybe it’s just better this way. How could you not fall in love with this face?

Everyone is looking at the camera AND looking good.

Even humans can’t pull that off!

Smelly grass, a slobbery ball, and some sunshine are basically all the good things in life.

Doesn’t he just look like he wants to make his humans happy and will do anything – including staring into that phone they’re always looking at – to please his people?

Maybe dogs just want to see US smile.

We’d love to take him on a long, smiley walk!

These two seem like the best of friends – and we know that when we’re in the car with ours we always have a big smile on our faces.

What a beautiful pup – and he seems to have such a sweet disposition.

No doubt his humans keep him happy and healthy.

And just look at those markings on his ears and those tiny toofers!

He’s adorbs!

But it is a bit of a mischievous grin we’re getting here.

Nah, just kidding, this dog doesn’t seem capable of anything other than pure joy.

But this pup seemed to enjoy tearing through the used wrapping paper more than anything else his humans could have given him.

Jackpot!

But we think we see the arm of one person not pulling their weight when it comes to making this dog smile.

And those teeth!

Does he or she have their own Instagram account yet?

And those big ears blowing in the wind look like the making of a perfect summer day.

Ah, how we miss the sunshine.

Now she’s tucked into the back seat on a nice cozy blanket and ready to sleep it off.

What a great day!

This dog is luckier than us – on a boat, soaking up rays, no responsibilities – what we wouldn’t give to trade places for a moment.

We’re pretty sure we would be smiling big if we got out on the open water every now and then.

But we might not look as cute.

Can you imagine ever saying no to this dog?

We couldn’t – it would take some serious resolve.

All of the above, we bet.

And we’ve never seen a Husky-Beagle mix before but my are they cute!

That look on his face says “I’m adorable and happy and you could improve this whole situation by paying more attention to me.”

This are some hopful eyes for sure.

Don’t you just want to climb in there and have a big snugglefest?

Or is that just us?

Her owner doesn’t even seem to need to do anything other than look at her to get this glance.

We’re so lucky to have dogs!

Certainly nothing in the moment.

In fact, dogs are great because anything they’re doing at the moment is the greatest thing ever.

What a daring this doggo is.

It’s incredible how happy you can make a dog just by making some eye contact.

And they even get to shake off all that water onto their owner.

We bet there’s a stick around there somewhere as well.

Hint: no.

This dog is definitely enjoying its poolside massage.

We’re not even sure if that’s a smile or a completely relaxed face.
