Guy & His Dog Take ‘Twin’ Photos Together – Now The Entire Internet Is Twinning With Their Dogs

When you’ve lived with an animal long enough or anyone else for that matter, it seems that they start to take on our personalities. They become our other half or our twin.

This could be said for 24-year-old Liam Rice from the Isle of Man and his husky Luna.

They are “twinning” and they are twinning hard. Rice noticed that Luna would often make the same facial expressions as him.

“I think my dog might actually be a human trapped in a dogs body,” he wrote on Twitter.

So, he posted some silly pictures of him and Luna making the same faces. Well, the internet took it and ran.

Rice’s photos went viral and also starting a twinning movement across the internet where people started posting photos of themselves with their pets.

“Going viral has just been so bizarre, he told Bored Panda. “Usually you see people go viral for actually doing something productive, but all I did was take a picture with my dog and I woke up the next day to a frozen phone (from the notifications). It’s been so lovely though to read all the positive comments and seeing other people with their dogs!”

Rice, who also owns five cats, is an animal care officer at the Manx SPCA and says he loves his job and life on the tiny wild island, which is in the Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland.

“My main duties at the ManxSPCA are caring for and rehoming dogs in the kennels. Fairly often I get the chance to help with the welfare side and go out and rescue animals such as cats, dogs and even more wild animals like seals!” he said.

“Life on the Isle of Man is beautiful, I am happy here and it is my home. Although sometimes I do feel detached from the rest of the world at times! It can be hard to find someone to settle down with as I am limited with the amount of people on the island!”

He may not have contact with that many people in real life but he now has contact with thousands on the internet that adopting twinning movement.
