Every pet owner knows that each animal has its own personality.
People who aren’t pet owners don’t seem to understand that each animal has something that makes them unique – but you know it. For example, I had two Shetland Sheepdogs growing up and while they had similar temperaments because of their breed, they could not have been more different. One dog loved to meet new people, while the other was happy to only greet my mom.
Dogs have a funny way of expressing their emotions, whether they are happy or sad.
If you’ve ever sung around your dog before, you might notice that some dogs like to join in. They even try to sing!
According to Psychology Today, dogs actually have a musical preference and even a sense of pitch. It is why when you hear a group of wolves or dogs howling, they don’t end on the same note.
However, the canines participating in group howling seem to like it, which is probably why humans imagine that a group of howling dogs or wolves feel that they are engaging in the canine equivalent of a spontaneous canine jam session.
Just look at Bowser the Siberian Husky!
He enjoys bath time so much, the only way to express his happiness is by singing.
It makes sense that Bowser can sing so well because he is a Husky! The breed is built a lot like wolves.
Commenters confirmed:
“Almost all huskies do this xD I can’t bathe my dog at home anymore, people think we’re killing him.”
According to Healthy Pets:
The Siberian Husky holds his head high and his straight back ends in a bushy tail. His coat is quite thick, but the fur sits close to his body and comes in a wide range of colors. Male Huskies average 21 to 23.5 inches in height and 45 to 60 pounds. Females are a bit smaller at 20 to 22 inches and 35 to 50 pounds.
Huskies weigh about half the amount that wolves do, but are very similar in build. Maybe Bowser thought he was calling out to his wolf brothers?
Once the groomers started to wash Bowser, he began belting out a tune.
“Singing in the bath/shower has never been like this.. RECORD DEAL!!!” a commenter joked.
From the big smile on his face and the tongue hanging out of his mouth, you can tell how happy he is!
The video of Bowser singing has made the rounds online. When it was shared on the popular Twitter account, Girl Posts, it blew up right away.
Since being shared, the video has been viewed over 700k times! Everyone just loves Bowser’s beautiful voice!
And a few people even had sympathy for the groomers:
“OMG! He is so loud, those ladies are troopers :)”
