Dog owners are devoted to their pets.
Many dog owners purchase bags in which to carry their adorable tiny puppies so that they can take them everywhere they want to go, or they may surf the internet for excellent leashes for their pets.
Undoubtedly, they carry them everywhere if they were permitted to. It’s now easier to take them food shopping with you thanks to an Italian retailer. The decision not only made local dog owners happy but also helped the store make more money.
A shopping cart for dogs would mean a longer time for dog lovers to shop.
After observing dogs waiting for their owners to purchase outside the front of Unes in Luino, Italy, owner Gianfranco Galantini came up with the idea. He reasoned that if it was easier to bring their dogs inside with them, dog owners would be more likely to spend more time shopping and hence buy more.
That’s when he came up with the idea for a shopping cart that would allow small dog owners to shop alongside their canine pals. They wouldn’t have to rush back outdoors to see their dogs. The specifically constructed carts were ready a few weeks later.
The design of a shopping cart is perfect for dogs so their owners can bring their pets with them.
“The owners of tiny dogs may now avoid having to leave them outside, giving them peace of mind to take all the time they need to complete their purchases,” Galantini told La Repubblica. “Although the project is new, we’ve already noticed how much our clients like it.”

The shopping cart is composed of a partition. There is a divider installed in each of the unique “dog” carts. The dog sits on one side, while guests arrange their items on the other. On the side where the dog sits, there is also a flat divider to make it more comfortable for them to sit, stand, or walk around.

In Italy, owners may lawfully bring their dogs into stores with them, but the new carts make it much easier. Galantini has even discovered that his new carts have prompted dog owners to exercise their right to bring their pets inside.
It is already lawful for dogs to enter stores if they are under the authority of their owners. The shopping carts, on the other hand, provide owners with an added sense of security while shopping with their pets.

The carts are cleaned after each usage, and the dogs have so far enjoyed their trip throughout the store. One dog barked at first, but once his owner began moving the cart, he calmed down. Also, the new dog carts haven’t caused any issues with other customers so far.
When these unique carts were posted on Instagram by thisdogslifesite, one commenter wrote, “This grocery store has customized carts so that dogs can shop too. That’s a great idea!”
Galantini’s idea is approved by many dog lovers and customers.
Customers at Galantini have raved about the carts. Galantini’s carts have even gotten the attention of corporate management. They hope to expand the famous carts to more Unes outlets around Italy.
Who knows, maybe someday the carts will make their way to other parts of the world. After all, dogs in shopping carts is too adorable to pass up. There’s only one thing cuter than a dog in a shopping cart: a dog pushing a cart!
