Even though we might have been preparing, it’s still very hard to accept that someone close to us could pass away.
When vets diagnosed Guada with cancer, Florencia Abraham knew she had to care for her beloved dog.
She also knew there was a greater chance she’d say goodbye to her.
Despite all of her efforts, Guada passed away last November.
Guada and Florencia had been the best of friends for more than 14 years.
They spent most of their time together, creating memories and sharing their love for each other.
Unfortunately, though she tried to prepare herself, Florencia had difficulty moving on.
If you have lost a pet, you understand what Florencia was feeling.
After a few months, she could still feel the emptiness that Guada had left.
It even felt more painful as months pass by.
She was worried about her best friend.
She prayed for a sign from Guada.
Then, one day, a tiny new friend visited Florencia.
Florencia saw a hummingbird flying near her window and quickly went out to look at it.
With tears in her eyes, she reached out to the hummingbird, hoping it would stay longer and land on her hand.
Florencia looked at the person recording the video, and they both knew what it meant.
Florencia and her brother are from Argentina, and they believe that if you see a hummingbird after you have lost someone dear to you, it could mean that they are close and are letting you know they are okay.
Hummingbirds could also appear in a person’s dream; for them, it is a way that deceased loved ones can bring comfort.
“I look extremely ugly in this video but I don’t care because it’s my best memory ❤️ Thank you Guadita for finding me again💫,” posted Florencia on her TikTok account.
Her video garnered over 25.7M views.
As she held out her hand, praying the hummingbird would land on it, but it did something else.
The hummingbird landed on her head.
She was moving and crying, and her brother was equally emotional, but the tiny bird didn’t move.
It stayed on her head for a while.
They all knew that it was their beautiful “Guadita.”
Surprisingly, the bird stayed with them, sometimes resting on one of the chairs.
We often see Florencia offering her hand to the hummingbird, but it always lands on her head.
There was even one time when she was able to pet the bird.
While others could view this as a mere coincidence, many believed it was Guada since it was uncommon to see hummingbirds get close to people.
Florencia and her family wanted to know if Guada was okay.
When the hummingbird went to her and landed on her head, they all knew it was the answer they were looking for.
This message provided solace to them, allowing them to believe that Guada is alright and content wherever she may be.
