For some people, style and fashion are an incredibly important aspect of their lives. As it turns out, the same can be said for some dogs, such as for this little adorable furball, for example.
Meet Pluto, the always dapper four-footer who just loves dressing up and trying on new clothes.
Pluto’s obsession with clothes might’ve started by accident. The small and cute pup was rescued by a kind young woman named Lily, but the pup didn’t feel so well after Lily took him in.
He always seemed to be cold and shivering. However, Lily, her family, and even specialists couldn’t really figure out a specific reason why. The vet thought that it was anxiety, but Lily wasn’t so sure.
“The doctor said it was just ‘anxiety,'” Lily told The Dodo. “I realized that, since he’s so tiny, he’s probably really cold.”
Of course, Lily already had the perfect plan to test her suspicion. She bought him a cool and nifty little jacket. It turns out that Lily was absolutely right because when Pluto was covered in a layer of clothing, he stopped shivering and shaking completely.
Pluto’s fashion obsession was born.
Ever since he put on that first jacket, the four-footer has gone absolutely crazy with dozens of different outfits and styles. Pluto is most definitely one of the most fashionable dogs around, all thanks to Lily.
Pluto’s clothing varies from all sorts of different jackets, padded sweaters, and shirts. He looks absolutely stylish in his clothes and he doesn’t get cold anymore – what more could a sweet pup ask for?
However, since Lily had expanded his wardrobe with more than a dozen cool clothing items, she wasn’t sure what to do with all those doggie clothes in the house and more importantly, how to organize them.
Lily’s dad then came up with an adorable and fantastic idea.
Closets are made to put clothes in – but you can’t exactly just buy a closet for dog clothes in the store or on the internet. You can, however, build one yourself! That’s exactly what Lily’s dad did to make Pluto’s wardrobe more organized.
“My dad is great at building stuff. He built my dog a whole closet in under two days,” Lily mentioned. “That was amazing to me.”
The closet offers plenty of room for a couple of hangers with Pluto’s favorite outfits. The hangers themselves were actually meticulously handcrafted as well!
Pluto absolutely adores his new closet. In fact, right after Lily’s dad built it, he couldn’t wait to take a look and decide what clothes to wear.
“He was excited!” Lily recalls.
Just look at how happy this adorable pup with his new furniture!
One thing is for sure: Pluto has found a very loving and warm home where he is being given all the tender loving care and attention he deserves. Lily’s dad and Pluto are inseparable as well: “He calls Pluto his grandson,” she said.
Lily shared a couple of pictures of Pluto and his new closet on her Twitter account but didn’t expect the post to go viral with almost 40,000 likes and ten thousand retweets.
“Bless your father’s heart for doing this to your pup,” one Twitter user wrote.
Chances are that Pluto will be getting even more clothes in the future and the closet already looks stacked, but we’re pretty sure that Lily’s dad would be more than willing to build him a bigger closet.
