Dogs and cats usually do not get along well, and sometimes it is hard for both species to get used to each other’s presence. However, what if dogs are introduced to a bunch of newborn kittens?

There is a higher chance for cats and dogs to get along if you try introducing kittens to an adult dog. Just like with human babies, you can see dogs react to baby animals differently than with adults; they seem to be more interested and they take extra care around them. Even though this theory is not yet proven, it might still be a good thing to take into consideration.
There are various steps to introducing baby pets to your current pets. The key is to observe their reactions to one another and give proper supervision during the introduction. If it goes well, then voila! Soon enough, the kittens will grow up living harmoniously with dogs.

Viral Paws made a compilation of videos from a certain Kuaishou user. They are videos of Golden retrievers and a husky welcoming a bunch of orphaned newborn kittens at their home. You can also find some curious cats who were watching the crawling kittens, but it seemed like they were not the kittens’ parents.
You would notice that they were motherless since the owners have to feed them through a syringe. The video compilation was uploaded on YouTube in September 2019, and it has over 9 million views!
The adorable dogs just watched the kittens crawl to them peacefully.
The first clip was maybe the first time the kittens were being introduced to the dogs. The dogs were not bothered with the little kittens just crawling around the blanket on the floor. The dogs just sniffed them and nudged them gently with their noses. The adult cats watched the scene from a distance.
In the next clip, you can the dogs resting their chins on the plastic bed while watching over a single kitten. The sight is just too adorable to witness.
The kittens thought that these gentle giants were their mothers.
The three adorable dogs are great at taking care of the kittens. The dogs show them affection and even groom their fur when needed. Sometimes, they nudge them to keep them away from danger.
Once the kittens see a dog lying down beside them, they try to go for them for milk. Unfortunately, they could not find what they wanted but it is great that a gentle and loving family surrounds them.
Watching the kittens grow up well with their new family is heart-melting.
