How do you define happiness?
Is it shopping, going on a tour, trying out new food, or being surrounded by nine fluffy and adorable Golden Retriever puppies?
For the thousands who viewed Goldie Life’s YouTube video, it was the latter.
It was a short clip that featured a woman who was busy preparing a meal.
You can see that she was smiling throughout the video as she scooped some dog food.
The woman was busy scooping dog food to refill the two stainless steel slow-feeding bowls.
But her movements were limited.
She can’t refill the bowls faster because, at her feet, were nine beautiful Golden retriever puppies eagerly waiting for their delicious meals.
As she scooped the dog food, nine pairs of puppy eyes gazed at her, begging her to step up her game and prepare the food as soon as possible.
They were all sitting down and looking up at the woman, their tails wagging with excitement and anticipation.
Then the woman went to the other side of the room carefully to get some wet food that she would later mix into the feeding bowls.
Getting there took some effort.
All the puppies followed her.
We even heard one puppy whine. They were so hungry.
According to American Kennel Club, Golden retrievers love to eat.
Aside from food, they’d even try to eat paper, toys, crayons, and other stuff they thought could be delicious.
Golden Retrievers are indiscriminate eaters.
This is also the reason why Golden Retrievers have a bigger chance of overeating.
If you’re an experienced owner, you’d know by now that it’s best to carefully measure foods and treats to ensure good health.
Don’t let the puppy eyes fool you.
Even if they give you their cutest puppy eyes, don’t overfeed or give them too much treat.
It’s hard not to give in when your pets look at you with those big puppy eyes, but of course, as responsible pet owners, we wouldn’t want them to be overweight or experience gut issues.
As the pups patiently wait, the person holding the camera calls them.
A few of them look and go to him to receive love and pets, and then more puppies came.
It was so nice for these adorable puppies to still accommodate pets even if they were really hungry.
They’re rewarded with a feeding frenzy.
They’re adorably patient.
Many people commented how sweet the puppies were because even though they were starving, they still went to their owner for some pets.
Then, we see them go back to the woman and patiently wait for their meal.
At last, the woman had finished her task and tried oh-so-hard to put down the bigger bowl, but all the nine puppies were so excited that she didn’t have any room to put down the meal.
After several tries, she finally put one bowl down and as expected, the nine balls of fur ate their meal, then she put another bowl and took four puppies to eat in the second bowl.
Seeing your puppies eat with so much gusto and knowing they are healthy is enough for any pet owner to feel fulfilled, happy, and content.
