Dogs always seem to know how to make us smile.
Dogs make life much more interesting…and comical. Their goofy, playful, and clever antics are the best distraction when we need it most. Most of the time they are predictably perfect but when we least expect it, they remind us that they are anything but.
They don’t have to do much to make us laugh and they are quick to impress us with their hidden talents.
When the doorbell rings…most of us expect it to be a neighbor, a family member, or at least a human.
One family in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, was shocked to find that their own dog was ringing the doorbell. The hilarious moment was caught on their Ring camera and the video has been viewed over 1.4 million times.
The family’s six-month-old golden retriever named Charlotte knew just how to get her family’s attention.
The Ring camera shows an adorable, fluffy, golden face staring right into the camera. Charlotte uses her paw to ring the door then patiently waits to be let in.
Charlotte had been playing out in her yard before ringing the doorbell to be let back inside.
The video of her looking into the camera and tilting her head made everyone online fall in love with Charlotte.
One person wrote, “That head tilt destroyed me…dogs are so cute.” Another wrote, “The fact that the dog just knows where the doorbell is and what it does kills me every time.”
Um…hello anyone there? It’s raining out here.
Charlotte’s sweet face stares into the Ring Camera after pushing the bell. She seems a little miffed that the door hasn’t opened yet.
Maybe an added bark will help her efforts.
She seems to know that someone is coming and sits. Her efforts have succeeded and she is not not only the most adorable she is also the most clever dog. I don’t think this is the last time Charlotte will be ringing that bell to be let in. What a good girl.
Charlotte’s owner opens the door and asks the dog, “Were you ringing the doorbell?”
The dog barks and we can only imagine her giving her owner an eye-rolling reply of “umm obvi mom.”
Charlotte isn’t the only adorable pet that has been featured on Ring doorbell’s YouTube channel.
One little pup called Monty got a lot of attention recently when he discovered his indoor Ring Camera. The mini dachshund was super curious about his family’s Ring Stick Up Cam! His tiny, sweet face is attempting to figure out just what this camera thing is all about.
Monty’s snout fills the camera lens.
After his mom left for work, Monty decides to go ahead and sniff the camera to everyone’s amusement. Monty’s mom was able to receive alerts about the little dog’s adorable interaction with the camera. Dogs are simply the best.
