Bailey the Golden Retriever knew something interesting was going on behind those closed doors. Something big!
He could sense all the life stirring in the other room but didn’t know what was going on. Mom and dad wouldn’t let him in. So, all he could do was wait and wonder.

But after a few days, mom and dad finally let Bailey in, and he was completely in awe of what he found behind those doors.
Babies! His cat friend had babies!
Bailey could just not contain his excitement. He loves babies! Does this mean he’s a dad? There were a lot of thoughts going through his head.
Bailey immediately ran over to the family and started sniffing around. He got all up in their business!
Bailey clearly doesn’t understand boundaries or privacy and got his big snout right in there to sniff out each of the little babies.
The little cuties didn’t seem to mind.
They were preoccupied with drinking milk from mama or being cuddled up in her arms.
Bailey wanted to give them kisses too but mama cat had to set him straight. Bailey was coming on a little too strong and mama and her kittens needed some space.
She kept putting her arm out so he would back off.
She wasn’t being aggressive about it, she just needed Bailey to take it down a notch.
But sweet big ole’ Bailey couldn’t help himself. He was suffering from a case of cuteness overload, and who could blame him really?
He just looked so happy to be in the presence of these tiny kittens.
Eventually, Bailey got the hint and hopped up on the bed next to the new family while still giving them some space. He made sure to stay close enough in case the mama cat needed some help so he could jump right in.
He seemed to have already designated himself as a father to these kittens.
One even had the same exact coloring as he did. He was just grinning from ear to ear sitting next to his new “children.”
Eventually, the mama cat let him cuddle up a little closer. And when he snuck his snout into the kitty pile again, this time a teeny kitten sniffed him back.
His heart was filled with so much joy, he didn’t really know what to do with himself.
So, he just smiled and laid back down. The kitties started to become quite curious about who or what this big fluffy thing was with the big nose.
Bailey’s mom then picked up one of the kittens so that Bailey could sniff him out. And Bailey was enamored all over again.
These little guys were super cute. Bailey’s video with his new children ended up being viewed more than 1.4 million times on YouTube.
“Totally adorable! You can see mum totally trusts Bailey with her babies, She’s just showing her love back teasing him as she normally would, just more gently. He’s one proud family member. He’s probably first in line for babysitting duties,” said one YouTube commenter.
