Because of the worldwide pandemic, people all around the world had no choice but to lock themselves up at home to prevent the further spread of the virus. In some parts of the world, the lockdown ended after a couple of months, and as expected, most people were rearing to go visit their family and friends again.
Humans are not the only ones who miss their friends
Our household pets miss being outside just as much as we do, and they probably also have some friends that they want to see again. Just like this Golden Retriever named Kevin who just recently reunited with his best friend after being away for the whole duration of the lockdown.
This golden retriever didn’t know that his owner was taking him to go meet his best friend.
One day, Kevin’s owner noticed Kevin being sad, probably because he was not able to play with his best friend for so long. The only way that he could see his best friend for the past months was behind the mobile phone’s screen, via FaceTime.
As soon as the lockdown ended, Kevin’s owner took him out for a surprise. As Kevin has no idea where they were going, he just sat in the car looking out the window while wearing his silly unicorn hat.

Kevin may have soon realized that they were on their way to his best buddy’s house as his owner was driving on a familiar street. Eventually, they reached their destination with their car parked, and Kevin couldn’t wait to meet his friend.
On the other hand, Kevin’s friend immediately went out of the house and immediately extended his body towards the passenger window where Kevin was in. The moment they saw each other, they just could not hold their excitement for much longer.
The dogs had a very special time doing stuff together as if it was the first time.
Kevin and his friend played chase in their yard. They looked happy as they both sprinted around the green grass. They even did plenty of other activities like playing tug-of-war, sharing a bowl of water on their break time, wore their silly hats, and just laid on the cold concrete beside each other.
After Kevin’s golden day together with his best friend, he had to say good-bye.
Kevin and his friend had a heck of a good time doing plenty of fun activities. However, they eventually had to say good-bye to each other for a while. His friend peeked in the car’s window to see Kevin before Kevin’s owner drove back to their house. Although their reunion had to be cut short, their owners knew that they both cherished that fun time together.
Even the people on the internet enjoyed Kevin’s sweet reunion.
Kevin’s owner was able to document the whole series of events of the reunion and posted the clip on Twitter. The clip was viewed over 50,000 times with 982 retweets. Viewers were touched by Kevin’s enjoyable reunion with his best friend, and some shared their sentiments on the comments section. Someone wrote:“
